Customers praise the AMD Radeon R9 390 8GB graphics card for its high performance, substantial RAM, and competitive price. Many appreciate its effective cooling system and the high frame rates it delivers in games, along with the included warranty. However, some users note that the card is large and can be noisy under heavy load, while others mention power consumption and occasional driver-related issues. A few also reported experiencing coil whine.

I just built a new computer for gaming and after reading tons of reviews and watching a lot of you tube reviews I decided to go with this one. I am happy I did as it has handled every game I have so far with ease. My old PC could BARELY run ARK and I dont know if it would run Just Cause 3 at all. But this card runs both on pretty much maxed out settings. Ive always been an AMD fan and this card will keep that going!

I am very satisfied with the performance, this card has 8G Memory, is enough to run fast and with excellent quality. I use more video editing and I think it is very good for games too.

it's a luck of draw to pick a modern video card without coil whine, some has loud coil whine, other has minimal coil whine It depends on the quality of capacitors on the PCB.
unfortunately, I got a bad one. I will ask for an exchange once my local bestbuy has them in stock again.

I was looking for a high end card to replace my older 6650 HD. Initially, I wanted to go with an nvidia chipset, but after reading benchmarks and reviews, I went with this card. I'm glad I did! This card flawlessly plays overwatch, world of warcraft, etc at maximum setting. I also stream game play footage on twitch. I would recommend this card to anyone looking for a good upgrade!

I used this card for a few months and it served my rig well. It is a bit on the pricy side at this point considering there have been new cards being released, but the 8gbs of ram is good for playing on higher resolutions.

Windows 10 & Multi-Monitor Users (3+) Beware

Bought this card because I needed a new gaming card that would run 3 monitors in eyefinity. I have been down all week trying to install this video card. Even Geek Squad tried and failed. Microsoft and NVIDIA hadn't gotten the right drivers out yet to support this type of setup. You will be in an infinite black screen of death loop. Before installing, make sure you have a good restore point set up!

Disappointing

Most reviews I see are very good and that is awesome. Now my issue comes into play because this card cannot perform with my cpu. Nvidia seems to perform 10 times better with a wide range of cpu's I have used them on. AMD is a different story, I am currently using an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 3.2ghz and performance is just a disappointment. If you have a more than decent cpu then this card may very well do you nicely but if you have a cpu similar to the one I mentioned I would steer clear of this purchase. The coil whine is super high and annoying and this card is crazy hot all the time.
