Needed something to get the PC going again

I have a desktop PC that the kids use for homework and gaming. Long story shortened, after troubleshooting it for days, I finally figured it was the graphics card. I didn't want to pay $400 for a PC that wasn't worth that, so I found this little gem. It was pretty easy to install and get going. I simply followed the onscreen instructions and read the instructions that came with it just to make sure. It worked!

Mostly Satisfied

I play some racing games and this card does the job well at 1080. Good news: Forza Motorsport 6 runs smooth on high (not ultra) setting. Bad news, Forza Horizon 3 doesn't run on an I5 2500K. So I don't know how the card runs the game. After much research, this card is a good match for this rig. If you have a faster CPU, get a faster card. Don't pay more than $120 for an RX 460 4GB.

This card lets me run BF1 and other popular games at a detail level that is plenty good enough for me. This might not be the best card out there, but it's a strong option for people who want to play casually.

Decent upgrade video card

Only came with a 2gb card and he said that it wasn't good enough for most of his games. Upgraded to this card and he says it's definitely better but not substantial. His PC didn't have the capability and power source for a better option.

Inexpensive replacement in a pinch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My graphics card gave up the ghost (a 480) and with a lack of money ended up with this card to get me through. It handles decently on most games (I have yet to try this with Mass Effect Andromeda but handles Dragon Age Inquisition on High with decent enough FPS) and handles video rendering well enough. It was a good purchase in a pinch and will work until I upgrade to something nicer.
