This GPU is a 1440 beast but I have my pc hooked up to my 4K tv and it’s still holding its own. Optimized games like gears 5 has me at 60 FPS on ultra 4K. I’d be it all over again if I had to.

Bought this for my son's gaming PC. He couldn't be happier! Though, he did a lot of research and bought this specifically because it was a good performance match for his motherboard and CPU. He can play all his games in high settings and gets consistent high FPS.

I got this card as an alternative to getting an Nvidia 2070 or 2070 Super. I ran it in my Ryzen 5 3600, 16 gb RAM, replacing an rx590. I also ran it on two 2k monitors. I was disappointed when I ran a game (Battlefleet Armada II) and an open Chrome window on my other monitor. I played for about 30 minutes and the computer completely shut down. I touched the back of the video card and it was almost too hot to touch. I checked the temp a few minutes later once I had everything booted up and the 5700xt was at 73c. I tried running the same game again and the computer would not allow it, closing it immediately right after I opened it. I re-installed my rx590, which got up to 72 c as well, did not shut down and ran two 2k screens. My game only suffered by having to go from "epic" settings to "high" settings. Perhaps AIB cards will improve cooling along with bios updates. I would steer clear of this early version for now. I was very disappointed that I would have to go back to Nvidia, who's price gouging at the moment. Good luck out there!

I have this card paired with an LG 32" VA panel running at 144hz with freesync. The graphics are excellent. The card has the power to play any game without any hiccups. The only gripe I have is the lighted "Radeon" name on the top of the card is not controllable with aura sync.

A Great Card That You Can't Use

I wanted to like this card, and I wanted to give AMD a chance here. I thought any issues could be easily avoidable. I spent about 2 days dedicated to simply getting this card to run a game for 3 seconds. Any time a game starts trying to use the card, it restarts my computer. Skips the blue screen and just kills the power. This card is very physically good, but it is actually unusable. No matter what you try, this card will find a way to let you down. Not a fault of XFX, the card is built well. AMD has just really dropped the ball on drivers. Buy something else. Coming from someone who absolutely loved AMD just days ago.

Can run Crysis 3 at 1080p at Medium settings most of the time at 60 FPS and it also is a pretty powerful graphics card for cheap. It's better than the new Nvidia RTX supers because of its value and because NVIDIA's ray tracing doesn't work that well yet. Haven't had overheating issues despite the complaints of it so far. Maybe because I bought a big case for it.

Ive never been more frustrated with a PC component. When it works its great, but most of the time it doesnt. Constant BSOD's with Video Scheduler errors, Black screens, etc. And its not temp related i keep it plenty cool.

    Good Performance Terrible Reliability

Sorry for long review. Short of it, is its buggy/poorly optimized and constantly forces unprompted reboot or no display to be shown over display port and static on occasion over hdmi. I genuinely wanted to like the card as I have a freesync monitor and have always wanted amd products but it just isn't meant to be for now with all of the problems I have had. I had this card for about a week, I had ordered it and had it shipped to me (as the stores don't carry it). Install was great and fitment is good in an ATX case. This card performs well, when it works that is. I generally place this card above a standard 2070 most of the time and rarely above the 2070 super, for the price if it worked perfect; it would be excellent as fps in game when its working correctly is amazing for the price, very loud but amazing. Now to the software and drivers and reliability side of the card. There is next to no stability with this early amd card. I had everything installed and routed perfectly inside my case, but due to poorly optimized drivers and blower cooler this card will consistently blue screen, drivers fail to black screen or forced reboot, or just not work at boot until restart a couple times. I couldn't complete most tasks without a graphics driver or hardware failure. Attempted defrag of a storage drive crashed 10 minutes in due to graphics driver. I would say until things get sorted out with the new architecture you will have issues for several months or more. Sitting on the desktop for more than a couple minutes with absolutely nothing running was enough to cause a full driver/graphics card failure and I would often run downstairs to grab a drink and come back to find my computer had restarted and sitting on the look screen. Great card if you don't mind tons and tons of bugs and issues, including complete failure at the worst times (especially with a raid0 setup). Returned and purchased a more refined NVIDIA 2080 card and haven't had a single issue since, even runs cooler with 20-40 fps better performance in games at a higher resolution. Would consider AMD again if they can get the bugs sorted out "before" launching a product not "after". This card is also very loud when you start pushing the card to the upper limits even with stock clocks and fan curve. If you're looking to oc the card. Good luck, barely pushed it to a 10 MHz overclock and it failed to even launch any game. Idk if it was a very unlucky lottery but I couldn't even maintain standard game clocks in a very decently ventilated case. Buy at your own risk, idk recommend waiting a few months for aibs and more refined drivers/software.
