Crashed on the first day..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card just came out on the market and i was excited and bought it but after installing it, It crashed after playing games for like 2 hours.. many say its not compatible with some computers or windows 10.. i don't know but it kept on giving me the blue screen to the point i cant even turn on my computer anymore coz it just keeps on restarting due to an error But when it starts with no error i can play games for about 2 hours straight then it would give me the blue screen error again.. I tried to update and uninstall and re install the driver again but still no luck it just kept on crashing so i returned it and went with the EVGA Rtx 2070 ultra instead. It's a bit more pricey for about the same performance but it saved me the headache now im happy.. no more annoying blue screen..

Great for price, but it’s hot!

Great card when you tweak it
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really happy with my purchase. Would recommend using Wattmann to set a custom fan curve. By default it doesn't spin till the card is plenty hot. I set mine to start at 25% fan speed at 30*C and then cap it at 50% fan speed at 70*C. Card doesn't go above 70*C even after hours of gaming.

Hot, parts fly off, can not return, overpriced.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was so excited to get a new graphics card my kid was, we installed the xfx 5700xt, loaded drivers and started gaming. Untill a weird burning smell came from the computer. Stock fan curve tops out at around 60 percent. Causing the vram to hit over 100c, core temps approaching high 90c Ok so we set an aggressive fan curve and took off the side cover. Still hot. Dialed back the power limit to -50 to keep this card under 70c and mounted a box fan next to it. Ok card is now cool. Strange slicking noise, checked wire routing and fan interference and still could not figure it out. Untill it went away. The xfx logo cap in the center of one of the fans flew off and in the adhesives defense it probably was not rated for serving in the gates of Hades. Spent almost 600 dollars for a graphics card and have a disappointed son and a graphucs card that runs at 50 percent or risk a meltdown. Attached a pic of the center cap that flew off. Mind you two weeks have gone by and best buy does not allow returns after two weeks no matter what. You asked for my review best buy and here it is. Do the right thing and allow me to return this graphics card so we can go Nvidia and make my son happy please.

Totally sweet and fast GPU card!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this card, I was going to go RTX 2070 but ended up going Ryzen 9 setup so I figured I'd stick to the PCI-E 4.0 cards. You won't be dissappointed!

Returned it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Attached is a photo of one of the main issues, the fans crash (reading 66k rpm on radeon software) and stop spinning under load. Temps climbs to 100c+ and the card shuts down because of overheating. I also got random crashes happening with pc begin idle. Tried different drivers and used DDU. I had a rx580 before and now I have 2070s and everything was/is crash free, so def an issue with this particular card.

Good first impressions
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disclaimer: My 5700 XT is paired with a Ryzen 5 2600X and 16 GBs of RAM. Pros: - Very good performance. Runs modern titles very well. I tested titles such as Monster Hunter: World, Dishonored 2, Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Apex Legends. All of them ran at a reliable 60+ FPS at 1080p. All titles were on max settings, of course. - Good value. For 400 dollars, you are getting a very solid card. This card competes with the 2060 Super, and has better performance. The 2070 Super is $100+ more for only a 10-15 FPS boost in most games plus the RTX feature. Not worth it imo, but if you want RTX and have some spare cash, go for it. - Clean aesthetic. Not much else to say, except that it looks clean without any excessive RGB lights. Cons: - Sub-par drivers. The main thing Nvidia has over AMD is the driver support. Hopefully, in time, AMD drivers will deliver better optimization. - Size. This card is huge. Its easily the biggest card I've ever owned. It has only two fans, but the card itself is thick, ironically thicker than the "THICC" branded XFX 5700 XT cards. - Thermals. This may be due to not-so-great driver support from AMD, but for how big this card is, it runs a bit hot. Adjusting the fan settings in the AMD software is a must. After that, it runs acceptably, and the fans are not that loud at all. - No RTX. Obviously, the biggest difference between this card and its Nvidia competitors is the lack of RTX. If Ray Tracing isn't that big of a deal for you, then great. If it is, then buy a 2060 Super. It's the same price as a 5700 XT, but with a 10-15% performance cut and RTX. The main thing holding this card back is AMD's subpar driver support causing problems (at time of reviewing) and its questionable thermals. This card blackscreened on me once, but after that, I've had no issues. Overall, a great card whose problems can hopefully be ironed out in time.

Great Card
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm writing this review because XFX won't give you your 3 months of Xbox game pass without giving them a review with 5 stars! Other then that it is a good card! Pros: -Great performance, kills it in the frame department in most games (For Honor 1080p Max Ultra- 180-220fps, The Witcher 3 1080p Max Ultra- 90-110fps) -Isn't too loud (is still a little) -It looks great in my build, it has a nice black finish and a "XFX" white LED -Good temps (60-65 max edge temp but that's with max fans) -Best RX 5700 XT card you can buy from Best Buy (as of October 3rd 2019) Cons: -The fans take about 5 min for the fans to spin down to normal RPM from a heavy load (its not because the barrings are good, if you turn off the pc they turn of immediately) -In adrenaline the fans go to 100% at 50% on the graph for the most part (it has a mind of its own) -There are better cards in a similar price range (Though almost none have the convenience of a warranty from Best Buy) -MSI Afterburner combined with this card causes the screen to flicker black every 3-5 secconds Verdict: The XFX - AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT RAW II is a great card that you can buy. Should you? It depends if you want the warranty from Best Buy or not. If you do then go ahead buy this card, I get amazing frame rates and it doesn't get very hot at all! I would recommend to a friend. If you are fine going with New Egg then go for the Sapphire Pulse for the similar price range and better cooler, or the Red Devil for the extra 40$ you get RGB, and 3 fans.

Fast as 2070super with lower costs!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a 1660ti, and do not regret it! I was deciding between the 2070 super, 2080, and 5700xt. In the end, this card delivers the same performance as the two options from Nvidia for a much lower cost. It's a very large card, but looks good. The only negative about it is thermals, it runs around 70-80 C when playing games, in my cold room. But I usually run it with fan speeds up so I have no issue keeping it below 70, but it is very loud.

Amazing hardware, horrible software
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded to this card from a 1070ti and wow the bump in performance is amazing! Card runs very cool just be aware that the card takes up 3 slots. But after 3 weeks of owning the card I went back to the store and returned it for a 2070 super. The hardware itself is not to blame, XFX came out with a great card but the AMD drivers are so buggy causing random black screens and hard crashes on the computer and after 3 weeks I've had enough of it. If you can work through these gripes then this card offers a way better value than its rivals. Maybe one day AMD will fix it's issues with the software but after the 5700xt being on the market for about 6 months with many people getting the same problems since launch I doubt they care to.

Good performace for the price, but man its HOT!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This graphics card is a great performer being at a $380 price tag. But…. I would highly recommend installing to latest drivers to prevent bugs the card has with earlier driver versions. Main ones being black screens and crashing on an assortment of games. But my biggest issue to be honest is screen tearing and artifacts due to the junction running at a mighty 99c under load! That's with a case that has 7 large fans, so air flow is not an issue mind you. I managed to get the card down to low 90s under load by adjusting the fan curve manually, but by doing so it creates a bit of noise inside my case. Don't get me wrong this card runs everything maxed out at around 100 fps+ on 1080 and 1440p. But I would probably have to recommend a different brand of the 5700 xt solely because of the heat issues.

Fantastic performer for its price!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This graphics card has some serious potential, but is clouded by its ridiculously large shroud and hot temperatures! This card itself is a 5/5 for price to performance. But you have to set up a proper fan curve in order to fully take advantage of this monster of a card. And don't bother installing this card on a B50M motherboard that has a a USB 3.0 port located in the bottom part of the motherboard. This over sized plastic shroud has a center piece that pushes on the usb and makes for uncomfortable installation of this piece of hardware.

Powerful GPU
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great GPU for the money and the second one I have purchased. I use it to play racing sims at 4K with an Intel 4770k and 16GB of ram, and I rarely see anything under 60 FPS. I also use this with an Oculus Rift S VR headset and it seems to run just fine. There are a couple of downsides to this card though. I have a perfect case for optimum airflow, yet this card usually runs above 90 degrees Celsius under load. Also, there are plenty of other 5700XTs that are better than this model at the same price point.

Beware: For More Determined Folk Only
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got this card yesterday. I read the warnings and was prepared for some difficulty. The important thing is I got it to work and it runs all my games on Ultra at 60-100+ FPS. Some things to note: 1. Out of the box, this card is far too hot. I imagine if your case is super-cooled, you might not have this issue. It will overheat and automatically shut down, leaving you with a black screen and frustration. 2. Firstly, you really need to use a tool like DDU to strip out all your old video drivers. Then, you need to do a fresh install of the Radeon software. You might need to update your chipset and bios, too, but start with fresh video drivers. 3. You will likely have to underclock and undervolt this card. In the Radeon tools, set tuning to manual and fine tune to: 1800 freq max, 950 voltage max. You will lose 3-5% performance, but your card won't overheat and shutdown and the games run like butter. 4. This card is HUGE. I have a full size case and there's not enough room between the HDD cage and back panel. I had to remove the card's face plate bracket (where the DP/HDMI connections are) and also bend outwards the back panel of my case... and it still is barely seated in the slot. I do not recommend this, but I was determined. At 1440p (144hz; freesync) with a 1st gen Ryzen 5 1600 (a bit of a CPU bottleneck): Witcher 3 - Ultra - 80-90 FPS Overwatch - Ultra - all settings maxed - 100 FPS Borderlands 3 - Ultra - 60 FPS RDR2 - Ultra (4th best "ultra" setting on their slider) - 50-60 FPS Vermintide 2 - Extreme - 70 FPS MW: Warzone - Max - 60-80 FPS All temps and fan speeds remain very reasonable in my under-cooled case. Also, I should add, I tried a couple of games in VR without monitoring frames. I have the older Oculus (with the cable oh my). I set everything to high. FPS had to be at least 60 and while I still noticed a bit of a screendoor, there was ZERO jitter, which I hadn't yet seen in any game up to that point. Anyway... wordy... If you don't absolutely need a 5700 XT, I would go with the 2060 Super (or wait another six months for the next wave of cards). Hope this helps!

Cost effective gaming cards
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased two of these cards to upgrade to gaming PC's Easy installation. Good features. Good price. So far the cards have met all expectations for gaming. FPS, side scroll, third person it handles them all with ease at 1080. Also handles multi monitor with plenty of port. Actuality attached an old DVI monitor with a display port adapter to this card with no problems.
