Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the excellent performance and reasonable price of the Hard Swap Edition AMD Radeon RX 470 RS graphics card. Many appreciate the crisp visuals, the attractive white LED lighting on the fans, and the relatively quiet operation, even under load. Positive feedback also mentions the ease of installation and low power consumption. However, some customers note that the card's physical size is larger than anticipated.

Card is not compatible with my HP. Tried the card in another computer and it functioned. I can't review the performance as I'll be returning it.

Solid 1080P performance on new 14nm tech

This is the latest and greatest from AMD. I've normally used Nvidia products because they were almost better in all ways [power draw, idle, performance>noise] Amd has come a long way and they have a winner. The card works great no blue screens or hang ups. Solid driver support. This item is priced a bit high for a mid range card but from benchmarks alone this card stacks up next to a stock rx 480. I am using this video card after upgrading from a GTX 660 and R7 260. The color output on AMD cards always somehow look sharper/better. This new rx 470 is quite big for being a midrange card almost the same size as a HD 7870. Performance wise this thing is a top 10 contender. It is comparable to a GTX 1060 but not quite . This card does have the silent 0 dba gaming and white LED fans. The fans do get loud if you get over 70C. On idle in a closed case and two 120mm fan setup [one front, one rear] the card idled at 48-50C and light usage went up to 61C. Changed thermal compound to IC diamond and added 2 exhaust fans and 1 side fan the card idled at 40C and 50C light usage. This product would not be for the Ultra preset hardcore gamer. This item works great as a 1080P solution. For someone that does not game and just wants display port 1.4 [8k capable] and HDMi 2.0 go with the RX 460.

    Great upgrade over the 270x

I had a XFX R9 270x Best Buy edition and upgraded to this model. I run 1440p @ 60Hz and get excellent quality on my games, much better than the 270x had. The Best Buy edition of the 470 and 480 have White LED fans which makes it even nicer. The fans can get loud if you go into Wattman and set your own standards. I have mine set to 1250RPM minimum, 3000 target. At 3000RPM I can hear the card fans over my 4x 200mm case fans, but it takes a few hours of gaming to reach this point. I have yet to trace my card going over 60C with this setup.

For a low budget card for a gamer this card is amazing, I went from 10fps in some games (very painful) to 60fps on ultra settings in most games (gotta love that vsync) I would recommend this for an everyday use as the fans don't spin during general windows use only when the GPU is under load and rendering. Overall very happy I picked this card.

A had a GTX 950 and a just did not like the fan sound it was way to loud. With this GPU u get fan noise that is 40% less noise and a just love the option on changing the fans in other colors. It's great GPU for the money a would buy it again

With a good CPU this card is a beast. Very quiet, and the white LED fans are cool. Works wonders on Ubuntu Studio with the amdgpu pro driver. I no longer have to mess with compositing to prevent screen tearing like I do with all Nvidia cards. AMD might be on to something here.

Replaced my ancient HD7870 in my gaming computer. Increased fps to 50 on maxed out settings with Rise of the Tomb Raider. I imagine it will do the same with other games as well. Couldn't be more satisfied though may get a 2nd one for crossfire.

This is an excellent card for the price, more power full than a 1050 ti and about the same price. I might recommend going up to the 480 if you have the money/power supply. Also this card REQUIRES a 6 pin connector and gets very hot. I would recommend at least a 600w psu

I am using this graphics card to play games in 1920x1080 resolutions at highest graphics detail. This card barely breaks a sweat. Even under load the fan noise can barely be heard.

    Great card missing pieces

Got my card and after getting home and opening the box I realized it was missing the install disc and six to four pin connecter. I got the drivers from AMD and I didn't need the adapter for power. Now I'm just wondering if there was something else on the disc to control the LED lights. I also didn't need the power adapter but someone else might need this.
