Great Card
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this during after Christmas sale, so it was definitely a deal. Runs smoothly Witcher 3 on ultra settings using VSR (2K) on my 1080p 59.97Hz TV. Also runs BattleField 1 smoothly on ultra settings with frame rate capped at 144 @ 1080p. Very little tearing (could be my TV). Now I need to upgrade to a 120Hz TV (maybe 4K?). Anyway, super deal for the speed. Easy install.

Great card for 1080p
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Make sure you download updated drivers, for some reason when first launched game it was stuttering and then it became perfect and hasn't had a hip cup ever sense

For 1080p, this is where it's at!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased my XFX RX 480 last year, and have been impressed by how well it handles modern games at 1080p with no struggle at all! The nice thing that XFX puts into this version of the RX480 is the hard-swap fans that allow you to replace ones that fail - or you can change colors between white, blue, or red. For price to performance, this is where you want to be for 1080p - especially now.

RX 480
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This card has so far stunned me. I went from a Crossfire set up with 2 R9 270x's. The improvement in the graphics stunned me. I rarely used Crossfire due to the lack of support on games. If need be I will post more later. The fans not spinning until under load is sweet!!

Great Card - Doesn't have code
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.http://xfxforce.com/en-us/Promotions/2016/CivilizationVI THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO GO TO GET YOUR FREE CIV VI. Code doesn't technically come in the box, you have to register it on XFX Website and THEN they give you the code.

Works great, when it doesn't crash
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems that the drivers for this hardware are having major issues. Build is as follows: CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 Haswell Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero RAM: Gskill Ripjaws 1600mhz 16GB Intel SSD for OS/games. Crashes during Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Doom, Civ V, Civ VI, Diablo III and Hearthstone. Temperatures are normal on both the CPU and the GPU. Nothing crazy, even under load. At first, I suspected that somehow I had a component that was overheating. After checking system monitors, that was proven to not be the case. Giving it one more day to see if I can figure out what's going on with the software before I ship it back and swap it out for a higher-end Nvidia. 13 years ago, I had two AMD cards melt on me and I swore I'd never buy one again. I'm now wishing I hadn't, because this has been nothing but a headache since the unboxing.

Better Cards on the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own several RX 480 video cards and this iteration of the card while taking some steps forward over the reference design leaves something to be desired with its heatsink design. For the same price there are better designs from other manufacturers. The only reason I purchased 2 of these is because I have a $500 BBY Gift card and this is all that BBY had at the time.

Incredibly Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I realize I am in the minority on this one, but when I try two of them and they still don't work, I have no choice but to give this card one star. Built a brand new PC using an MSI 970 G Series Gaming motherboard. I did research and didn't find any compatibility issues between this card and motherboard so maybe it's my bad luck. The video from the card to the monitor would cut out randomly after boot. I could idle at the desktop for as long as I wanted, but as soon as I started to click around the video would cut out. I thought that the original one I purchased was DOA which, hey it happens. I exchanged it for another one and the same exact thing happened. After an entire weekend trouble shooting, I gave it to my buddy who has repaired PCs for 20+ years. After a week he finally gave up. He tried other graphic cards and they worked fine, so it was clearly a GPU issue. He also tried it in other rigs, also no problem. Moral of the story is if you have an MSI 970 Gaming mobo, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CARD. I have no idea why, but it doesn't like it. Incredibly frustrating losing two weeks after a new build to have your only solution be "Try a different brand of graphics cards". On a side note, five stars to Best Buy for their painless and quick exchange policy. That was the one shining moment out of this entire fiasco.
