Easily able to squeak additional performance out through AMD Adrenaline software. Minor coil whine but not as loud as my RTX 3070. Great card for higher fps 1440p gaming.

Runs the latest games at 1080P at 240Hz or more, or at least very close to it. Also, it plays very nicely with passing through to virtual machines if you're in that niche as I am.

I wanted a RTX 4080 but I was poor. In fact, I am still poor. So I kept downgrading my selection on a gpu when it hit me why get an Nvidia. Those are grossly expensive. So I ended up with this. The gaming power of this gpu rivals that of a 3090 and sometimes a 4080 on certain games. So bottom line, been getting my butt whoop in Apex since February 2023 at ultra max settings 4k hitting 120 plus frames.

Definitely overkill for what I use it for , but I dont have to worry about not being able to handle games. Great looking card too.

New PC builder

I am newer to PC building so I did have to go into Bios and change quite a few things which took me awhile to figure out such as: the overclock setting to OFF as well as lower the voltage and max hertz because it was overheating. Once I figured out what was wrong the GPU now runs perfectly. Extremely happy with how it’s running.
