I was upgrading from a 6800XT so i did not expect a lot more performance but the uplifts i am seeing are far more than expected.

Dead GPU

It probably had a good 40-50 hours worth of use before it burned out on me. I took it to the geek squad but since it’s past the return date there’s nothing they could do for me, apparently no warranty either. Money well spent

Since the switch more often then not my PC wont post. now i am getting a white screen here and there. When it works this thing is a monster. Its been a headache. very close to RMA at this point.

Too loud

Not worth it right now…

Software bugs left and right that haven’t been fixed in months. Don’t buy this until Radeon patches it. And be aware of Best Buy’s return policy. I’m stuck with this card because I spent the week and a half window they gave me troubleshooting fixes for the software problems. Am now stuck with a faulty $990 paperweight

Haven’t gotten to install it yet but I’m hoping it works right still.

Utter garbage

I bought a 4080 and the same system has been fine. I really hate Nvidias inflated prices but honestly this 6950 is the worst purchase I have made in a long time. Now I am fighting another rma with xfx that wants to blame my psu even though it's fine with the 4080. Run away from this card.

Had for under a year and it failed out the entire time I owned it. Constantly causes crashes and over heats even with proper ventilation, cooling fans, and a 850w power supply. Do not buy AMD.
