I currently own, and have previously owned, many projectors of varying price ranges and quality. While targeted as an entry-level projector, the Yaber Buffalo U2 is easily the most underwhelming projector I have ever used.
The only reason for not giving this a one star review is due to the few positive aspects of this projector. It is lightweight, has multiple inputs, and sports WiFi which is uncommon at this price point. All of this sounds great, however other than the HDMI and USB-A connections working as expected, the pitfalls were plenty.
The HDMI immediately connected to my laptop and Fire TV Stick 4K. However, the WiFi connection never actually connected despite multiple attempts and even resetting my router even though all other devices were connected without issue.
With 720p one should not expect an amazing picture quality, and with this projector just know you should expect even less. It doesn't matter how many connectivity ports you have, or that the device offers WiFi streaming, if the picture quality is terrible. First, you absolutely must use this projector in very low light, nearly dark conditions. External light sources will easily washout the projections. Second, the throw distance degrades exponentially the further you try to view. I found anything beyond about 8 feet rendered the projection nearly non-viewable. The images become washed out and "thin", colors are lighter, and overall the picture is grainy and out of focus. Which brings me to the third point, the very minimal focus adjustment ability. Up close, the adjustment levels are fair, but from any distance at all the ability to focus is so limited it renders the projector useless.
If you are going to use this in a very small space, up close to throw a small image, in very low light conditions then MAYBE this could work for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and do some research. You will find there are many other options near the same pricing with far better quality.

We had a similar projector at our Church and I had used it on several occasions w/ a class that I teach, and I had been in the market and looked at several other projectors when I saw this one. It is roughly the same size as the one at our Church, but that is were the difference stops. This Yaber - Buffalo U2 Native 720 Entertainment LCD Projector is a HIT!
When it arrived we were leaving that afternoon to go on a weekend camping trip, and as we were about to pull out w/ our camper the package arrived, so we just threw it in the truck and kept going. I am so glad we did (along w/ the other couples around our camper as well). We had been there for two nights and I thought about the projector in the truck. I opened it, grabbed a folding table, hung a white sheet onto the side of the camper, set it up, which is seamless, and hooked it up to our laptop and we were literally watching a movie w/ in minutes. Granted, the white sheet was not the best to project a picture onto, but it was pretty good. Several of the other campers commented on how small it was but how clear the picture was. I think Yaber will have a couple sold in the near future.
It comes packaged in a very secure box, w/ a handle and its very sturdy. I use it to store the projector after we are finished. When we arrived back at home my son/grandson and I watched a Disney movie that we projected on our wall, it was so clear and the process of sitting this up and hooking to our laptop is so easy. I like the fact that you can adjust the height and use the lens control to “clear up the picture’’.
Everything that you need to get started Yaber has provided in the box. This is a great projector and I’m most certain we will use for many, many years on our camping trips. It is so good that our Church has agreed to purchase on as well.
I HIGHLY recommend this product

This is an inexpensive video projector, but you get what you pay for. It’s reasonably compact at 8” x 6” x 3” and comes with a soft carrying case, remote, HDMI and AV cables, power cord, and small plastic tripod. To use the tripod, you need to remove the adjustment screw because it conflicts with the tripod even when fully screwed in. There is mention of a screen in the description, but nothing of that sort was included. The instructions are in semi-English (reminding me of the early days of imported electronics), and as such, they are semi-useful at best.
The connections are numerous but somewhat old school. Included are VGA, AV, headphones, 2-USB A (one is power out only, the other is USB 2 which will read older flash drives), HDMI, and an SD card reader. Focus and keystone adjustments are manual. The bottom has a front height adjustment screw as well as tripod and VESA connections. I’ve seen the light output listed with varying numbers, but from experience, I can attest that the output is 1000 lumens at most, so it needs a very dark room. The audio uses a single small speaker with no low end. It’s suitable for a small space but only if music isn’t an important part of the content. The noise of the cooling fan will be very noticeable in quiet scenes, so you don’t want to be sitting next to the projector.
The resolution is 720P (1280 x 720) which is very much on the low end these days. Most phones, computer screens, and broadcast TV are now at least FHD (1920 x 1080 or 1080P), and your TV is most likely 4K or 3840 x 2160. Although it supports Miracast, I was never able to get my Android phone to cast to it. Some but not all my computers were able to find it and wirelessly connect. My suggestion is that it is best to connect through the HDMI port using a cable or a streaming stick of some sort. Plan on an external speaker connected to the headphones jack for decent sound quality or volume.
In conclusion, this is old technology with minimal resolution in a decent-looking package. If that suits your needs, then you’ll be happy with the low price. If you want a bright, good resolution picture and decent sound, this won’t meet your needs.

A native 720P projector for under $200. Not a too steep price to pay for a good starter projector in a small room.
