Fun game, excellent port. I knocked off 1 star for being a game key card vs a game cartridge.

Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut on the Nintendo Switch 2 is nothing short of spectacular. As someone who’s played multiple entries in the Yakuza franchise, this prequel still stands out as one of the most engaging and polished experiences in the series — and the Switch 2 port truly does it justice.
The story follows Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima in 1980s Japan, delivering a rich narrative full of heart, humor, and unexpected depth. The character development is excellent, and the localization remains sharp and entertaining without losing the soul of its original setting.
Combat is fast, flashy, and satisfying. Each character’s multiple fighting styles bring variety and strategic choice, keeping battles fresh even after dozens of hours. The boss fights are memorable and fairly balanced — challenging without feeling unfair.
On the Nintendo Switch 2, the game runs smoothly with crisp visuals and responsive controls. Load times are significantly reduced compared to previous handheld ports, and the performance is consistent even during frenetic action. Minor graphical downgrades from the PS4 version are noticeable if you’re comparing side-by-side, but they don’t detract from the overall immersion.
Beyond the main story, the side quests and mini-games — from managing a real estate empire to dancing competitions — offer hours of delightful distraction. This game is a love letter to ’80s Japan and a must-play for both longtime fans and newcomers.
Overall, Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut on Switch 2 is an outstanding package that blends deep storytelling, addictive gameplay, and unique charm into one unforgettable journey.

I mean if this is physical copy. I would like to buy it. However, this is only 2KB game card. Why i would spend my money to download a game and waste my storage? Please release a physical copy of the game. NOT A GAME-KEY trash
