An awesome remake for an already awesome game. If you liked Yakuza 0, Kiwami is the next title in chronological order. Can' wait for Kiwami 2 now

Yakuza Kiwami is first and foremost a remake of the first Yakuza game. It looks great and introduces a lot of nice new features and distractions.

Great story and game is really fun and I loved the steel book

A great remake that looks pretty good. If you like rediculous over-the-top gameplay/characters with a pretty solid story, theb pick this up!

I was skeptical to how good this game was really going to be but after putting about 27 hours into it, I am hooked. The details and quality is in abundance from the food items to the shop signs, it really gives you feel of Japan. The action and game play is top notch once you put the effort and learn the moves and techniques, I really am enjoying this game.

Compared to most Yakuza games, especially Yakuza 0, this title may feel lacking in content, but it is every bit as fun. This title is actually a full remake of the original Yakuza game, released on the PlayStation 2 in 2006, and adds most of the content from that game with brand new mini-games, side missions, heavily refined combat and progression, and extra cutscenes making for a directors cut version of the original game's story. At it's core, Yakuza Kiwami is an action brawler RPG that can't be missed.

This is an awesome game, beat em up action at its finest. The game is only $11-18 on sale so get it and enjoy a great game at a low price.

I highly recommend this game especially if you enjoyed Yakuza 0. It is not as extensive as Yakuza 0 in terms of sidequests. However, it makes up for it with the story and over-the-top gameplay the Yakuza series is known for. Also, you must keep in mind this game takes place after the events of Yakuza 0 so i would recommend playing Yakuza 0 first.

I recommend this game to people interested in action rpgs. The overall map isn't that large but its quite dense with things to do. You'll easily spend over 50 hours doing everything this game has to offer. The story is worth watching the cutscenes and reading the subtitles. The reason its not a 5 star is because the combat can get repetitive because its somewhat simple and some of the minigames have a learning curve like Japanese mahjong. If you are new to the series, start with yakuza 0.

If you can, play a little bit more for this version. The steel book is really beautiful and is a great addition to your game collection

Great story , great game play, the sleelbook looks awesome

This is a remake of the PS2 classic, Yakuza 1. The graphics have been completely overhauled for PS4. The gameplay remains fun as always. Essentially this is a JRPG mixed with third person brawler fighting mechanics, set in a semi-open world. The story alternates between hilariously goofy to serious dramatic crime drama cutscenes..

Highly recommended for PS4 pro. Graphics are great and the story compelling... Sleeper hit... Must buy for fans of the genre.

I enjoy the humor in this game haha. It's a very fun and witty game. The mini games for 2 players was fun to play as well.

I never played the original, so this re...master/make is exactly what I needed to jump into the series. So far it’s great.
