It's has worked great since installed about 2 weeks ago but my problem is the misleading instructions for installing the door sensor. There is a pic that shows where to drill the hole. The pic shows the sensor goes below the hole where the door locks. So we drilled below the hole and it didn't work. Then we drilled again,below the hole, but nearer, and it still didn't work. So we went online only to find out the sensor goes above the hole. It worked..yay..but I now have 2 huge holes below ..not happy!

Installation is standard. Syncing and calibration are easy with the app. Its not super reliable in terms of staying connected.

We purchased this lock after reading reviews and we are not disappointed. We had another brand that failed and this was a replacement. This was easy to set and to add additional codes.

Absolutely the best purchase I have made. Connected it through Bluetooth on my phone and when I leave it auto locks and when I pull into my driveway it unlocks automatically. Can sweet multiple users to get in and out with ease.

So far, so good. Works as advertised / WiFi control via Yale App. Keypad has been programmed (easy - follow directions). Smooth operation / Would buy again and recommend to friends and family.

Easy to install. The manual is overwhelming, just make sure you take the time to read it before hand if you have never installed a traditional door lock. It's simple when you prep. Does everything we need!

Works great. Easy to use with the app. The only thing I wish is that the bolt was locked into place when extended so no one could pry it open. You can just push the bolt right back in when it’s extended.

Ive been wanting a smart lock for a while now and I’m glad I went with this one. It works well with my google home and installation was pretty easy. I love that I can lock and unlock my doors remotely..

Love it. Install straight forward. Programming simple once connected to wifi. Able to get a connection on first try - a lucky day for me, like winning the lottery.

Has been very reliable and just a nice looking smart lock on our door. Very easy to install and easy to use. love that it can be used with Alexa also.

This is an excellent lock; I have bought two in the past for family members. The instructions are simple and the installation is easy. It gets my highest recommendation.

This Smart lock is so amazing. I can open my door with my phone, key pad and or my key. If I forget my phone or keys I still can get in my home. Very easy to set up. Just fallow the installation instruction and it’s ready to go.

I love this lock. I didn’t install it, I had a lock smith install the lock. Setting it up was easy. I did have to call Yale and they walked me through it. I love having a smart lock.

I love never needing a key when I jog or take my dog for a quick walk. We also needed our cat looked after when we were out of town, and the custom link/code was easy to share.

The product is great but the app setup is weird you would think it would just be the Yale app but it’s a whole circle of weird named apps.

Great lock easy to install. The setup with the app took longer than expected but once it is setup totally happy with it. Will update review once we have it for a bit longer just now at 2 weeks

The Yale smart lock along with the August app is so easy to use. The lock was easy to install and set up. The August app allows you to lock and unlock over Bluetooth or WiFi so you can monitor when you are home or away.

Easy to install after I made the opening hole needed to fit the lock. I needed to use a bore hole drill bit. The app set was easy as well.

This product is not backed well by the manufacturer, it will fail and the app is useless. A bit of background, I bought this in January and installed it on my house. First setting it up requires the serial number on the lock and the connect module which is a pain to access as you have to have it all disassembled to get to it. If you can get everything setup it often loses connection to the network and the WiFi functionality rarely works. When it stops working you have to do a factory reset (about once a week if you are lucky) which requires disassembling everything again. Sometimes the app will not let you do the factory reset and will not let you remove the lock. In that situation all you can do is wait and pray it will work later. Often within 48 hours it will finally let you clear it out. Basically you are far better off with a normal deadbolt as any time saved with this will be lost with how often you will be fixing it.
