Sweet bass sound

Very Good Subwoofer

I only use my subwoofer for low frequencies below what my speakers are capable of. Hence my subwoofer experience is never boomy or overpowering. I have a Yamaha Aventage 3060 receiver and figured this subwoofer would match nicely. Yes, it does - very nice shiny black finish and all the connectors and adjustments that I'd ever want at a very reasonable price. Recommended

Outstanding sound quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When my old 5.1 receiver started to go out I purchased a new Yamaha 7.1 receiver and my old woofer was not sounding as good. It did not have the same punch when watching movies. I purchased this Yamaha subwoofer and the sound is absolutely incredible. We have a nice sized family room and things sound better than going to a movie theater! I only have the subwoofer volume set halfway and at times I consider setting it lower. Since the new receiver allows a connection for two subwoofers, I relocated my old subwoofer just to provide added nuance. The subtle addition has allowed for a new surround sound experience and I'm considering purchasing another Yamaha subwoofer to completely replace the old subwoofer.
