Compatible with LG OLED tv. It works well and was using the arc hdmi connection but then had to switch to optical connection - no fault of the soundbar. It’s nice and simple to use with real good sound output. I wish the remote was a bit more responsive - I tend to have to press the but hard and several times for it to react. I bought it when it was on sale for $50 off.

For the price, this Yamaha 2.1 is fine. Sound quality is average-good, better than my TV's built in speakers, but don't expect super sound. Build quality is good, HDMI, Optical, BlueTooth and analog connections make it versatile. Indicators on front panel not intuitive when switching inputs, or adjusting sound settings. Included remote control works fine. Low profile design, so doesn't block bottom of my TV. I have many other Yamaha electronics, so I feel comfortable with this brand.

This Yamaha - 2.1-Channel Soundbar with Built-in Subwoofer - Black is the 360 quality you expect from Yamaha. It’s compact, but delivers audio choices & adequate volume range in terms of bass less treble options. My sound bar is connected to an old Audio Technica turntable fit inside a vintage stereo console. So, the remote is a must and the built-in subwoofer is a huge +++ plus!! Very satisfied Yamaha’s performance & superb value!! Thank you friends at Best Buy!!!

I'm so glad to have purchased this! The primary reason for upgrading was as an alternative to bringing into my entertainment center a 20-year old home stereo system with all the wires and hoopla that would be necessary to hook it all up as well as space constraints. This little beauty replaced a gigantic receiver, 5 speakers and about a mile of wires, not to mention cutting down a nightmare of wire connection and concealment . At this price point, I didn't have high expectations -- but was blown away by the size, ease of set-up (power plug and HDMI ARC,) and sound quality. Paired with a 55-inch TCL, It made a quite appreciable difference in sound quality of both speech and in listening to music. It really enhanced my viewing & listening experience to a degree I didn't expect but am thrilled to have. Am looking forward to getting another for the bedroom TV.

I chose this as a birthday present for my mom, along with a new TV. The TV's sound is acceptable on its own, but this sound bar definitely enhances the experience. My mom and I appreciate the different sound settings for different types of content. The sound is very lifelike, with full bass and clear treble, and the balance between bass and treble is good. My mom especially appreciates the ability to use the TV's remote to control the soundbar volume, and the soundbar turning off when she turns off the TV, both courtesy of HDMI-CEC technology. Overall, this is an impressive soundbar for a reasonable price.

Compact and great for my office! Sounds like a cinema and easy to hook up!

I purchased this Yamaha speaker for one of the rooms in our home. I also purchased the JBL model JBLBAR20AIOBLKAM for a different room of comperable size. Both sound nice and I am a big fan of both Yamaha and JBL brands however in this case I would have to choose the JBL for just a few dollars more. The Yamaha has a built in subwoofer while the JBL does not however the JBL produces significantly more base and has a smoother sound. I would recommend listening to both and form your own opinion,

Hooked this up to the TV in our camper. Sounds great, easy to use. Nice to be able to stream music from my phone through bluetooth.

The sub-woofer is meh, but the sound quality overall is good. I have a TV in my bedroom and the sound fills the room well without a weird reverb/hollow sound with some other speakers. If you want bass, get something with a separate sub. I also like the quick Bluetooth function for hooking up my phone for music.

This was a great purchase for the price. The sound is great I like the different quick keys stereo, standard, movie, game and it has a clear voice on it this clears the back noise and gets the voice. Hookup was real simple. I suggest using an HDMI arc this way you can use your remote. for vol. however it does come with an optical wire. I also bought a shelve for the top of the TV this way I placed the unit on top of the TV sound comes out perfect.

This has good clear treble and a solid bass. The subwoofer is solid. The voice enhancement is very good. The compact size is very nice for a regular size tv room, den, office, condo, apartment, dorm, or office. The Bluetooth feature works well. It is a good produce,

Very nice looking and good soundbar especially for computer setup fits perfectly. Sound bar is high quality made. Has alot connection options such as hdmi, optical, Bluetooth and can play files from usb also it has usb port for future software updates. Sounds good with all type of connections including Bluetooth setup. This all in one speakers with built-in subwoofer is a good set-up for computer or tv or in bedroom for Bluetooth setup from your phones for music or movies.

After vowing never to buy another Samsung product again, I turned elsewhere. Yamaha has rooted history in all things sound and it shows with this product. It's a great value anc gives a big sound - perfect for the family room TV and easy to mount on wall brackets. Highly recommend

Works as intended - great alternative to using TV speakers. Set up was easy using ARC HDMI Port. If lots of Bass is your thing then I recommend a speaker bar with subwoofer. The voice enhancement works well. Sound is crisp and clear. You get what you pay for with this Yamaha speaker. I pair it with LG 55" C1 OLED. I purchased over holiday weekend so I was able to get sale price. It's worth mentioning the quality build of the speaker is excellent.

Bought this unit on sale in store. Discussed needs and options with a very knowledgeable sales person. I was buying the sound bar for a bedroom. This is a compact yet powerful soundbar that makes my Samsung q80a sound great! Yamaha has been in the music/sound business forever and knows sound! A mighty mite in compact sound bars!

Great value! Can't beat it for the price. Replaced a much more expensive Bose soundbar 300. While the Bose was nice and had more features, this one has a fuller, richer sound I prefer. Nice compact size fits nicely with a smaller tv. This Yamaha also a nice faux surround effect. Bass from the built in sub is adjustable, at high level is strong but not overpowering. It also has ann nice app to control it from your phone. Great buy!

Easy to install. It has great sound for a small soundbar. Reasonable price and good quality. No issues so far!
