When I first heard this at home I was going to return it. I thought that there was no bass and the speakers were muffled but after listening for a while, watching movies and TV I realized that the sound was clear and the bass was subtle but powerful. I like how well the uni volume and clear voice works. I don't get blasted by commercials anymore and I can hear what everyone is saying.

Traded in the old system for the wireless version. So far so good. Has low bass and was a great upgrade to the old system. Got rid of a lot of wires.

seems to be pretty good, i really dont know much about sound bars, or surround sound systems... but its a bunch better than tv speakers...

This bar delivers punch and is great to Bluetooth music from your phone. It has clear voice option and AP as well.

After doing a lot of research went with the Yamaha YAS203. It sounds great. You don't have to turn the sound very loud on the system to be able to hear the words that they are saying on TV. Easy to hook up. Very happy with this purchase.

It is very easy to install, we didn't need the installation service. The Bar attaches to the wall below the TV, or rests on a counter. The Bass Box is separate, does not connect to the TV, and just plugs in. The sound quality is good, and the Best Buy price was very good.

Great sound. Good that it works with my tv and cable remotes. Syncs well with other devices too

I did lots of research before finalizing my purchase. I must say before this Yamaha I had a really expensive Bose home theater that was 1500.00. Hands down this Yamaha blows that Bose away by miles and miles. Movies, music, and especially gaming sound rich and incredible and the piece of mind knowing I have a 4 year Geek Squad protection plan is the icing on the cake! I originally looked at Sony, Klipsch, Denon, and Sonos which were out of my price range seeing I already spent 1500 on the Bose. I can say this with certainty that my 349.00 Yamaha has replaced my Bose in the living room and the Bose sold for almost as much as I paid! Love this system and I I would have paid double for this and still would have had a better sound bar than the Sony that was 700 or 900 that was on display at Best Buy. Do yourself a favor if your contemplating getting a home theater of any kind for the value it is much better than a 1500.00 system and I highly recommend this or any Yamaha for that matter. Reason I went back to Yamaha is because back in 2008 I had bought a Yamaha system with separate components, speakers and Subs which cost around 1500.00 unfortunately my apartment was broken into and it was stolen and unfortunately for me I didn't have renters insurance, case in point I have a house now and this system sounds amazing. I am still in disbelief that I only paid 460 with taxes and a 4 year protection plan. Do yourself a favor don't think twice about this!

I have been very pleased with this system after my $200 LG sound bar crapped out after two years. Sound quality is definitely better and has plenty if punch for a small living room.

I was searching for a sound bar that was relatively inexpensive and had good quality sound and bass. This sound bar hit the spot. The only negative I have is that when you put it near the max it crackles on high pitch singing.

Easy to set up and the quality of music is outstanding!

Good bass, true differences in sound selections for sports, movies, etc... The voice quality is still not quite there. Considering the price, still a good investment, and an improvement over TV sound quality alone.

i loved this yamaha great sound and bass for the price

My 14 year old 5.1 system was only running my center speaker and subwoofer all the other channels are toast. I really didn't want to spend 1k on a new setup and didn't want a cheap theater in a box. After reading all the reviews on sound bars I thought I found the perfect sound bar for me. I couldn't find one hooked up in store but with the raving reviews I had to have one. I tried it for two days before returning. If I had gone from my TV speakers to this I would probably be ok with it or just for my bedroom. My cheap 14 year old center Sony speaker and sub sounds a ton better than this Yamaha. I'm now shopping for a new 7.1 system that yes I will spend over 1k on. This Yamaha sound bar is better than the speakers in your TV but not by much to justify cost.
