Tremendous soundbar

For my setup, a true surround sound system would really not be practical, and this soundbar fit the bill quite nicely. I found the online reviews encouraging and my own experience with it so far backs those up - very good quality. Wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.

Great sound bar!

Could not get it to sound as good as I needed.

I have a hard time hearing voices through the TV speakers on some programming. The sound bar was only marginally better. Ended up getting an av receiver and stereo speakers which is working out much better.

Sub par sound for price

After hours of playing with settings I never could get it to sound even as good as my sons $79 Vizio sound bar

OK sound

After several days of use, I just wasn't impressed by the sound. I had more preference for a less expensive LG 2.1 set. I would have kept the set but my TV remote (2017 Samsung TV) simply would not control the volume of the bar. I did manage to get it to work for power on/off but never for volume up/down or mute. Deal breaker for me.

Get what you pay for....

The Yamaha sounded less dynamic and more compressed in comparison. It sounded very 2D head to head with the Bose. Lacked enough wattage for my big room. You might like it if you don't vouch for the Bose, ignorance could be bliss!
