Really bad. The speaker on my cell phone sounds better than these. Its too bad its past the return deadline, they would be going back. Spend the extra money and buy Definitive Technology outdoor speakers. You wont be sorry.

I had a covered patio added to my house that had speaker jacks also. I went to Best Buy and checked out all the outdoor speakers and listened to them.The Yamaha speakers not only had the best sound,but also the smallest. My wife and friends all have been impressed with the quality of the sounds while using them for radio,cd,tv.I highly recommend this pair of speakers.

Perfect for an outdoor patio, easily Bluetooth enabled by a $60 controller & some wires, it’s all you need to transform your outdoor space into a music studio.
