The system was easy to assemble and setup. The longest part of setup was hooking up the wires honestly. It was pretty straight forward and simple and the sound is really movie theater quality, at least in my opinion. In short I'm very satisfied with my decision

Yamaha had always been a reliable company for home audio. This is a solid starter system. Don't expect it to shake walls and furnitures. There's enough tweaks that you can make this a well-rounded companion to your TV. It's a good foundation for a starter system that can grow into an above average setup.

The Yamaha 745 is easy to install and speakers are good. I had to replace 2 speakers with Bowers & Wilkins - 600 Series 5". The Yamaha sub-woofer quality is great. However, I had to buy after market speaker wires. The speaker wires shipped with the box is okay.

Nice beginner system for a good price. Definitely worth the money if your looking to get into sound systems and home theatre.

The idea of customizing the length of your speaker wires seemed like a good idea at first. Then we decided to use our old wires. Had to search for instructions online because everything is online nowadays. Can't get my blu-ray player to work. Maybe we need to upgrade. Overall, it's a decent system.

Excellent system with great bass response even on medium settings. Setup was easy and intuitive, however the manual is online and not included in the box. You have to strip and cut your own speaker wire lengths from a long spool of wire, which I was not a fan of, but overall am very satisfied with this system.

Got this on thanksgiving weekend. Very good sound quality. A/V unit has 4HDMI support, tuner, bluetooth connectivity makes it worth the price. Speakers & sub woofer are very good quality. Installed this in media room for home theater experience. Highly satisfied customer. Would recommend.

For a box system the sound quality is amazing. Incredible base which can be adjusted on the sub. The system has a feature where it will spatially adjust the sound for each speaker based on your seating area. I highly recommend this system.

This is a fabulous system. It sounds great and has great features. The speakers are just the right size for an average size living room . You get 5 of them and a Subwoofer unit plus the receiver and it is a really nice clean machine that has enough usb and other HDMI ports to plug in all your gaming, roku, cable, blue ray players, modem, router and any other boxes you may have. It truly is designed for the future as it also has ARC Technology so that all sound can go up from your TV throughout your receiver from ALL of your devices.

Day one. Great sound. DEEP bass. Replaced my LG surround sound with this, much better quality. For the price especially I don't think it can be beat. I did a lot of research on systems under $1000 and this was constantly in the top three. Highly recommend.

I bought this to replace an older Samsung system. Wow, the difference in sound quality is amazing. I love this, awesome bass, sweet trebles. Mid Tones are spot on. The rear speakers bring out so much that I normally don't hear in a movie, sometimes making me feel like I am part of it.

Since mom is a movie buff, I recommended these for her and it was budget friendly on her part. She really enjoys the sound and bass. Hooked these up for her with 12 gauge cables and soon put banana plugs as well. But momma is happy !

This is an amazing 5.1 surround sound the options of sound and subwoofer are extremely crazy no matter if ur watching a movie playing game console listening to the radio or Bluetooth. I had a Samsung and swapped it out with this best choice I made.

Bought this when I wall mounted my tv. Definitely worth every dollar. It’s extremely loud, very clear, and easy to use. This is my first surround sound that I’ve taken the time to not cut any corners. I wish it had wireless speakers, but for the price I can’t complain.

Great sound, easy to set up. It was also easy to connect it to the cable remote. I wear hearing aids so being able to have speakers directly behind me enables me to hear without it being to loud for the rest of the family

I've always been a Bose guy but was not interested in shelling out $3k for another one. Decided to go with the Yamaha. If there is a reduction in quality from my old Bose system, it's not that significant to my ear. Very easy to set up and sounds great in my small man cave.
