I use this amp with a sound bar. The HDMI connections are solid and the output is noteworthy. I would refer it to a friend or associate.

Bought this as an open box special to replace an old surround sound system. Loved the bluetooth connectivity and the Yamaha auto tuning via the micropone (provided). Set it up and found that the original owner had turned all the bass down to 0 and the treble up to max. Corrected the setting via the on-screen menu and the unit sounds great now.

I bought this receiver when I upgraded my home sound system and it works like a charm! There are a lot of features that I haven't even used but it works great for transmitting music via Bluetooth from my computer in the other room to the speakers in my living room. I love it!

Don't even consider another brand before you try this one right here for the money. JUST DO IT!!!

Best receiver I have owned. Good AM and FM reception which I had never had with my old receivers.

Have had Yamaha receivers and other audio products of theirs for years and never disappointed.

Worked great for what I needed, as my old receiver only had 1 hdmi port. Unfortunately was not compatible with old subwoofer and had to return to the store the same day to buy a new sub. Product is great, frustrated that service didn't give me the heads up after I showed them pictures of the back of the old setup.

I'm a beginner and this is my first receiver. Pretty easy to setup and configuration is breeze as per your need. Overall value for money and I would recommend this product who doesn't have any knowledge about the receiver but want to make sure supporting all the latest technology this is a must.

This is rather basic receiver, but it does everything that I needed it to do.

This is one seriously great amplifier and receiver. The sound is clear and sharp. The radio is nice and sensitive (which is good when I want to listen to distant stations). And it works properly with my existing, non-Yamaha, HDMI equipment.
