My onkyo died and I needed a replacement quickly, This unit had almost the same number and type of inputs as my old system. The only drawback was that it required a powered subwoofer that had to be purchased separately.

It's a bit big but it's works so well!! It has an input named for the Xbox One!! So cool! Did I mention super Loud! I would buy it again. Defenetly enough power for my Theather

Good value good sound quality. We bought Yamaha because it is a name that has been around for a long time. We have not been disappointed! We always get great products under the Yamaha name!

Hard to beat the features packed into this receiver for the price. This replaced and older Denon more expensive model but happy to say am pleased with the sound, performance and ease of use.

This is an awesome receiver for the price, I got mine that was open box for half price which made it even better. Set up was easy and it sounds great.

The only receiver that doesn't try to trick you about its wattage. Most say so many thousand Watts but it is into 4 or 6 ohms. This one says 130 Watts at 8 ohms times 5. It seems slightly weaker but powers my speakers just as good as the 1200 dollar denon that I had before it. I didn't ground the frame of the denon. Static electricity fried it. Lesson learned. This one is plastic, it shouldn't short out next winter when i touch it.

Love the way this system sounds and it had lots of different settings. Easy to set up.

Great surround sound compared to the RCA. The store clerk told us that with the better HD cables (expensive but well worth it) the picture on our new TV would come in better and there would be a big difference in the sound. He was 100% right. I have this in my great room that is 25' x 40' and the sound is awesome! I have had it a month now and haven't tried out the microphone yet. It really wasn't something I needed or really wanted, but I imagine it would be fun at a party.

Very easy hook and it delivers a quality sound. It also does a fair job converting picture from 1080 to 4K.

Easy to use. Setup was no problem and interface was easy to learn. The only thing is I cant get it to connect to the yamaha android app.

For the price this is a fine unit, it fulfills my needs quite nicely and the product is not too bulky.

so we bought this product, it was a later version of what we had from 2007. old one lasted 8 years in our theater room, lots of use. my son, who is a Marine and black belt in Karate, is not an electronics expert. so we were expecting a long install time. it turned out really easy. color coded terminals, connections were easy, made sense, it rocked!

This is a great receiver for the price. Initially, I didn't want much from a home sound system and this system provided me with much more than I thought. It integrates with my Apple TV, PS4 and TV. It allows me to turn on the PS4 or Apple TV with a click of a single button. One click turns on the device, also the Yamaha receiver, and TV and sets all inputs to their correct setting. Awesome sauce!
