Bought the Yamaha Aventage to replace my old eight years Yamaha receiver.Love the Bluetooth capabilities as wifi. More power than I need and enhanced my speakers.

Great receiver at an excellent price. Overall outstanding value for the money. Set up as a 7.1.2 with high front speakers. Dolby atmos sounds incredible

This Yamaha receiver complimented my DefTec system perfectly. Plenty of power, great options, at a great price. If this receiver has the specs to power your surrounds, I recommend it

this is my 3rd aventage receiver, replaces an rx-a830. I needed a receiver that had the hdr and hdcp 2.2 for my new samsung ultra 4 k blu ray player and my new 60 inch 8000 suhd tv. all hooked up and everything is unbelievable. I have a 7.1 surround system in my living room and the surround sound from the receiver is like being in the theater. i use the receiver for either movies or tv, occasionally listen to music but when I do the ability to switch music programs is fantastic. I would recomment this receiver to anyone who is looking for a movie theater experience.

This unit has amazing sound quality and great features like iPhone compatibility so you can push videos and music on demand, as well as Spotify streaming which is awesome. Love the multiple HDMI inputs and that it can output 4k HDR. The only downside is that it will force you to buy better speakers, it truly uses all channels as intended without blending in sounds into all so if your center channel is weak it will show its lack of depth since it wont aid it with the sub (like any good surround should anyway)

Loaded with options..Easy to navigate the on screen menu..Easy set up. More then enough power for a mid-size room..Sounds great.

Space saver and easier to use than my previous Pioneer receiver.. plenty of features to tweak for performance in any setting!

easy to setup for al connection and network . Yamaha RX-A660BL provides amazing sound. I would recommend this reciver .

I picked this Yamaha receiver up when it was on the deal of the day at Best Buy. What a great receiver. Dolby Atmos, DTS Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, tons of features. You cant go wrong with Yamaha receivers. Especially the Aventage series. Yamaha has the best user app of all the receivers I have worked with. I install sound in new build homes and have worked with a lot of a/v equipment and always come back to Yamaha when possible. Another great purchase at Best Buy!

I am loving this receiver it was so easy to set up with my surround speakers and the dolby atoms sound great.

Stylish with a great sound. friendly user and easy to connect with the speakers or tv.

Sound is amazing and setup was very simple. Haven't tested many of the advanced features yet but very happy after initial use.

I always had onkyo, but this just works great, The sound quality, the power.....is just everything!

Wow Best receiver ever sounds are clear and neat , App makes the operation extremely easy.

Perfect receiver when paired with my RBH R5Bi bookshelf speakers and r-12 subwoofer. Speaker setup was simple with the YPAO mic as it helps automatically adjust sound levels and distance settings. The additional sound stages are pretty nice but I tend to go with 2 channel for when listening to music or 7 channel when guests are over. I set it to surround when watching TV or gaming and it does the rest. 5 stars.

Got this receiver on sale from Best Buy and so far it has been working well with the rest of my equipment. I am not very tech savvy so I would NOT have been able to set up this receiver by myself. The Geek squad guys that installed everything set this receiver up with everything and calibrated the speakers to give me the best sound possible. Once explained, the use of the control was very easy to use.

This receiver was highly recommended by the sales person at our local Best Buy. He believed that it would be perfect to meet our needs and would be easy for us to coordinate with our home theatre system that included a new TV and Blu-ray DVD player and 5 existing wired speakers. He was so right. It was easy to connect all the speakers, DVD, and TV. The sound is excellent for DVDs and music CDs.

Was easy to setup using the provided mic. Needs to have a hard copy of the owners manual included with the receiver and not have to go to the web site to either read or printout for information that should be included with the receiver. Sound quality is good, but then again it's a Yamaha. Equalizer is hard to setup especially when you have to keep keep going b ack to the internet for instructions. Would have rated a 5 star except for lack of Manuel!!!!!
