I went into the store looking to buy a different brand. This unit was on sale for a few dollars more but since I had looked at both online they were comparable in features. The Rep at the store demonstrated both and there was no comparison in the sound quality. The Yamaha was hands down the better buy. After getting it home I found it was very easy to set up and sounded just as good on my speakers at home as it did in the store. It's easy to use and the picture quality for the television is as good as directly connected to the satellite box. We are very very pleased.

I've always been a Yamaha fan, but now couldn't be more pleased with the choice of going with the aventage. The sound is so clear compared to the regular Yamaha receiver...

My 4th Yamaha receiver and the cheapest and most feature complete of all of them. That is what technology has done to the music world. this one required a firmware update via wireless internet and after connecting my equipment and speakers did the audio speaker setup. On this one, you connect the mic and turn it in and automatically performs the calibration. For $225 due to some rewards certificates it was a bargain.

I updated my 17 year old yamaha receiver, with this new one because I needed more hdmi inputs. After over a week with it, I'm very happy with my purchase. I love how you could play Spotify through it, it sounds great. It has lots of bells and whistles. I got it for a great price, and I'm very happy with the service I get from Best Buy.

I had a problem connecting my old receiver to my TV via my harmony. It just would not sync. Have had several Yamahas in the past a nd had no problems. Found this one on line for a great price and free shipping. Arrived in one day. Hooked it up and synced it with my harmony and it worked the first time. Works great!!!!

I bought this to go with definitive technology speakers in a 7.1 setup. Very nice sound, especially when watching 4k uhd bluray source that has ATMOS signal. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Also, the yamaha android app that works with this is nice too, works great for playing pandora.

This system is replacing a similar system of the same brand. My old system did not handle 4K pass through. This model does. Hook up was done in about 10 minutes. Was easy to setup with my Harmony remote. This system supports 7.2, 2 front, 2 side, 2 rear, 1 center and 2 subwoofer speakers.

I was totally impressed when I heard the sound coming out of this of this Yamaha. Forever and for a long time I was a Sony guy but when I brought this new brand home I must confess I was concern that it won't meet my standards. Boy was I were wrong. New love in my life her name is Yamaha.

The primary purpose of my purchase was to have Zone B wireless audio connection to my speakers outside. Set up was easy, user friendly, and works perfectly. Overall, set up was easy and quick including balancing the 5 surround sound speakers. I am very satisfied with this product.

This receiver replaced a 5.1 Yamaha receiver that was a few years old. I like that it connects with network via Wi-Fi. Also has the ability to produce 5.1 surround, but the "rear" speakers don't have to be in the back of the room, so easier to wire. So far it is working great.

Having recently purchased the LG OLED 4K E6, I needed to match it with a 4K receiver. I also wanted to get a receiver which was Dolby Atmos enabled. This receiver is the an entry model in the Magnolia line, but it packs a whollop in terms of power and features for the money.

This receiver was a good value. It is a discontinued model so it is priced right. Does what it says it will do. Took an little effort to find Pandora. Was not included in the instructions as it was added after print via remote software update. I like the wireless option. It provides more flexibility and depth.

got it on sale, an excellent value, waited a couple months to write the review and in that time it still works/performs great, an excellent receiver that has all the options/features that I wanted (and I'm sure what many others would want too)

This unit is great and super easy to set up. Using the music cast app sure is handy when you want to listen to music and the receiver is in the basement. Just open the app and voila, you can jam without having to run downstairs to turn it on.
