Love all the new features and IOS app controller. I have had my whole system shut down a few times but haven't determined which piece of equipment is causing it. Will update my review if it continues and I find out its the receiver.

I got this receiver exclusively for Dolby Atmos, needed something that will last a few years. It works okay, perhaps remote has a bit strange layout. an HDMI port out front would be helpful, but that model is selling for $300 more.

Easy set up and great sound for the price. I had an old home theater system that the receiver went bad and this worked out just fine. My old system was a 1000W this sounds just as good. Just needed to crank the volume up a little.

I selected this receiver as it has a Zone B (second set of stereo speakers but limited to same input as the main zone). It will work for my purpose but found an Onkyo model at similar price that allowed for Zone 2 (separate speakers on separate input). Time will tell.

This is my second Yamaha receiver. My first one was not an Aventage. This particular model is a great device and Bestbuy had it at a very good price. The system sounds great. Dolby atmos and dtsx make movies come to life.

I bought this after researching many brands and products. The capability of this product is perfect for our home theater. It offers great sound and we paired it with Klipsh movie speakers. I would recommend this product.

This Yamaha receiver went on sale over a holiday break and I had to have it for my living room. You can't ask for much more than what this receiver puts out. Especially for the value. Works best with a harmony remote.

Purchased on sale for around 350 bucks and this receiver is a bargain at that price. Plenty of clean power and also is a name brand I have owned for years and every Yamaha unit seems to be reliable.

I didn't need high wattage, so this receiver is great to get the higher quality without a huge price tag. It has all the features I needed. The on-screen display is easy to use and straightforward.

This is a stereo that i chose to purchase to complete my home theater. I paired it with a Harmon Karden surround sound system and it sounds fantastic. I would surely recommend this product.

We wanted to get a lot more modern in our systems and this made our home a virtual world for music. The kids love it as all their apps link to it and play music inside and outside now.

Looking for an upgrade. Not yet willing to give up my vinyls and cds. Can still stream wireless through my phone and the Bluetooth technology. In my mind, best of both worlds!

This is a good starter receiver with plenty of features. Includes internet radio and 4K passthru. Wired and Wireless internet connections. Lots of customization options but takes a little while to get it set.

I recently hooked up this receiver and was amazed by the sound and ease of set up. The only downside is the remote. It doesn't matter because I'm using a Logitech remote.

This amp is great ,, over all does everything I wanted sound quality, versality is right on point,, not going to get into the details. Love it.

This receiver has everything one needs for a home theater system. It is easy to setup and works well. For the price it is one of the Best Bangs for the Bux.

My old receiver was 15+ years old. It was starting to sound bad and could no longer keep up with my new technology (4k TV, Xbox One, etc). I wanted ethernet/wireless and this was the best value receiver that I could find. I got it on sale, too. At first the sound didn't improve, but I realized that the audio problem was actually the speakers. Replaced the center channel and both of the surround speakers and was good to go. The only gotcha I had was my record player. The old receiver had a dedicated phono input that was amplified. This 1 has no such thing. I solved that issue by keeping the old receiver connected for just record playback.

replaced my harmon kardon with this unit. love it. no issues whatsoever. havent tested out all the functions yet but very satisfied with it so far.

I was originally using a 15 year old Marantz receiver that finally died. The Yamaha receiver has met all my expectations and may look to add another one in the near future.

Replaced an old Bose system and the difference is amazing. Sound quality is excellent ones all volume ranges. Especially like the phono input.
