Got it for a great price. Sound was good with easy set up, but had to return due to internet drop outs while listening to internet radio. Other than that I was quite happy

Bought this receiver on a recommendation by an employee and it was on sale. I'm glad I did. Sounds great and was easy to install.

Great receiver. I would have given 5 starts except that Zone 2 can't play a second source. It has to be the same as Zone 1. Isn't that just a B speaker feature?

This is my first time using the Yamaha receiver it seems to work great I like the Bluetooth technology and it's I would recommend it

The only thing I haven't tried yet is the Atmos, mainly due to my blu-ray player (a Sony) no providing capability to activate it with the AVR's decoder; it only reads it as Dolby True Hi. May need to wait till I upgrade my player for such feature to be available. Although I acknowledge the A660 to be the base model for the Avantage line, it covers all my audio requirements, since our room is of normal size.

This was an open box item so saved money from the git go. Has plenty of power for my built in speakers through out the house

Got it for over $100 off. So it was cheaper than some entry level receivers. Well worth it for a "Magnolia" area product.

I purchased my yamaha reciever in a package. I am impressed with the sound quality. Tv sounds good and movies sound great.

Replaced an older receiver that had a single HDMI input and no outputs. This unit has greatly simplified the connection of all my componets.

Fitted right in for my needs and sounds great in my theater room. Use it every day and sound quality is amazing.

Middle of the road receiver acquired at entry level pricing. Features though are higher end and easy to setup.

Need to update the systems we had to fit with todays lifestyle this is a great addition for the whole family

This is very good receiver. The quality is pretty good and like most receivers today it is overly complicated. Sound quality is good.

We are only using this for stereo, but produces a very good quality for the price. Overall an excellent value.

The receiver is quite complex to me and there is not any extensive printed documentation. Not having a 10 year old in the house is a problem. It has been a real task guessing my way through using the thing. The guy that installed it and hooked up surround sound and the TV gave me an overview. But he is not around late night when I want to do things. We almost returned it to the store because of the user difficulties.

Bought while on sale. Was easy to set up for my space. Would definitely buy another Yamaha receiver.
