Manual too brief

Good receiver on clearance

Zone 2 is very weak and doesn’t have any tone options leaving it sounding flat weak and underpowered. I was hoping to use zone 2 to drive some larger Cerwin Vega speakers on the other side of my basement but this receiver just can’t get the sound I want out of the zone 2 channel.

Struggles with 4K
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Yamaha and was excited to add this ti my new Samsung 4K TV. It is packed with great features and set-up could not be easier. The on screen menus and phone app are really helpful. With this being said, it has a huge issue with 4K video. I have been only able to get 4K through the receiver once even though I have spent $$ on expensive cables and triple checked settings. I am electronics savvy and this receiver is simply not ready for 4K. If 4K is not important, then this receiver is 5 stars. Plenty of power.
