I bought this Yamaha - AVENTAGE 7.2-Ch. 4K Ultra HD Receiver about a month ago. Setup was a breeze and the sound is fabulous! The system remote is responsive. No issues with bluetooth.

So far this receiver has lived up to all that I heard about it. Even using some older speakers, it sounds fantastic and has all the functions I need. Setup was also easy to complete

Great receiver. This replaces my Denon. This has all the power I need now and when I upgrade my front speakers to Polk RT!A9. This has great sound and great depth. Very happy and would highly recommend.

i purchased this yamaha to upgrade from a 20 year old panasonic which still works but ofcourse it was missing the bluetooth, wifi, etc, etc. i am very happy with all the features and the sound is top quality.

I had an older Denon receiver and it was time to update based on latest and greatest features. I looked into the top rated Sony receiver and compared side-to-side at the store. While I could hear the differences, this was discounted even more than the regular price so I jumped on it right away. I've been enjoying this receiver and would recommend it!

I bought this to upgrade my home entertainment system in my family room. It was easy to hook up and set up. I run my 4K Blu-Ray Player and Directv system right through this receiver and then into the TV. Works great! Very happy with this set up.

Many features can connect everything looks great with the rest if the electronics this is own 4th Yamaha in 36 years no trouble at all. Just upgrades

This unit has everything! Bluetooth and WiFi. I was about to buy a Bluetooth unit then realized it didn't have WiFi. I researched it and realized WiFi is a must have. This unit will connect to my home network exposing my huge Mp3 library. Yamaha also still has the Red, white and yellow connectors on the back enabling older gaming system connections. This is awesome as who doesn't have them still around? My new TV did not and that was a real disapointment. This unit is perfect and affordable. By the way, the new version of this unit is exactly the same with a different model number and it is $550.00. This unit is a clear deal! I highly recommend it.

This Yamaha receiver has everything I want installed as well as working with Alexa and my smart home. Super easy to set up and very powerful.

I purchased the receiver for use in a smaller sized room - perfect, not overkill. Easy setup and reasonably priced.

I had a different receiver in mind when I went to the local Best Buy and was told that due to my expectations I would need to check out this unit instead. My Marantz receiver died after 3 years- HUGE disappointment! This Yamaha has proven to be the perfect choice for my music and home theater needs.

Only problem I had was after I hooked everything up via HDMI, turned on receiver, TV and PS4...sound but no video...? Checked the Roku, also HDMI, and it worked fine. So I go through the standard change cables and input routine, still the same, sound no video. Perform a Google keywords search and after scrolling multiple forums I find out that there is an "hidden" menu accessed by turning off unit, continuously holding the "connect" button and pressing the power button. This opens the "hidden" menu which is otherwise unaccessible through the app or with the provided remote...? and not described anywhere in the accompanying manuals(that I could find after finding instructions on Google). When in this menu you can change unit impeadance (6 or 8 ohm) and MOST importantly choose the 4k mode; 4k mode1 or 4k mode2. I changed from mode1 to mode2 and low and behold PS4 audio and video as well as Roku and the Nintendo working fine. Don't have a clue why there are two 4k modes, nonetheless mode2 is what I needed. There is some other specific settings in there as well.

Lots of options, clean power, 7.2 lets you do Dolby Atmos, and the on screen menu system is super awesome!!
