A very nice, basic A/V receiver for smaller systems and audiophile beginners. Good looking, it comes with Yamaha's YPAO room correction EQ, plenty of inputs for most, and 3 year warranty. Owner's manual comes on a CD-ROM. I'm using this for 2.0 listening right now; very clean sounding with SACDs and Spotify Premium. [Out of box there is a downloadable firmware update issued 06/14/2018] I was able to get a very good price on this via 'Deal of the Day'.

The wireless connection options are good. streaming through Bluetooth can save you from running cables if you are using project or any av source far away from the receiver.

Have not purchased anything new in awhile. I decided to replace a 10 yr old yamaha receiver. So i seen the awesome price at best buy. My old receiver was awesome and goes into my shop. This new one i am amazed. Great buy and quality .

This home theater receiver is a great improvement over our last one. The sound is clear and rich. The dialogue in shows and movies is easier to understand.

Purchased the Yamaha Aventage 7.2 recently. This is a great AV receiver for the money spent. Has all the features you could want at an affordable price.

This receiver is so easy to setup and the interface is so simple. You won't be scrolling through endless menus trying to find what you're looking for. I do wish it had one more HDMI in and a simpler remote. I really think the remote could lose half the buttons and still maintain it's functionality.

Put it together with my 4K tv and UHD blue ray and it makes for amazing picture and sound. Wireless features make it so easy to play music.

This definitely took some time to get used to but works very nicely. It is loud and combined with good sub is very bassy!!

I bought this to go along with my new Sony 4K tv. It replaced my old Pioneer plasma entertainment system and it sounds great.

I tried the denon 2400 and took it back for this Yamaha. Got it on a deal of a day. You can’t beat the sounds and options.

This is my second Yamaha receiver and just like the first one this one does not disappoint! Easy setup, especially with YPAO calibration. The sound is awesome - Yamaha has never disappointed. Best Buy shopping was easy, price was awesome ($350) and shipping was fast.

Am very pleased with this A/V receiver. Fits perfectly on my cabinet. Easy setup with Geek Squad help.

Purchased on sale - using with Klipsch R820f, RP61 II. Also not on sale. Receiver pushes enough juice for my system. I may likely add amp to push a little more HP to speakers but for now receiver is competent and capable. Nice clean sound.
