    My old Yamaha would not support 4k pass through. So, enter the new Yamaha. It sounds great. I really like the app function to control the sound settings.

    I have 7 receivers and they are all pioneer except 2. This is my first Yamaha in 20 yeas because the pioneer desired was not available in the time frame for the installation of other equipment. I had frowned on this brand because of previous long lasting problems. So far it’s great!

    Perferm as it shoud be. Good for small speaker setup. Small gripe is that Bluetooth and airplay is unstable it frequently cuts off tried with ipad pro, iphone 6 and iphone 8. Firmware updated same issue. Sounds good when properly calibrated.

    Flat screens have terrible sound so amplifier is a must. This is a good one but controls are not very intuitive.

    for a high-end receiver, it stopped working after the geek squad came in and conducted a professional install in my theater room. After hours trying to get someone in to fix it, they are returning to understand why it has stopped sending a video signal to my 4k Projector. It should not take me to have to get the geek squad into work. Not sure why Best Buy asked me to purchase this junk.... do not recommend!!
