    This Yamaha has a better digital analog converter which produces great sound, also it is packed with features like Wi-Fi, airplay, Pandora, Spotify, Internet radio, even sirrus. I am really enjoying this unit!

    I have had several Pioneer receivers, but this Yamaha outperforms them all. The Pioneer receivers had numerous firmware issues, this Yamaha receiver works as advertised. DTS:X sounds outstanding.

    Just purchased a 4k TV and new speakers, so I needed a new receiver to go with it. In short, a lot of features (too many to name) and WOW, what a difference. It is definitely worth it!

    Great quality for the price. The only short coming is it does not have an extend speaker setting. This is available on the Pioneer model.

    We love this receiver for its great performance. We tried two others and I wasn't happy and returned. This Yamaha is expensive but well worth the price paid

    I got this unit last summer. It has a great number of options for listening, watching, and two zones. It was an open box unit and didn't come with a remote. You can use your smartphone app as a substitute.
