Love it ! Easy to hook up and sound great! I highly recommended this unit!!

My first few hours of experience with the product were not good. I threw in an old classic cd and the skipping was bad despite the disk being visually flawless. I put same disk in my 2002 denon dnd9000 and the previously skipping disk played perfectly. Turns out the Yamaha sc303 needed a firmware update. Avoid initial disappointment by updating firmware ware before playing your first disc. I found the Best Buy total tech support via chat to be extremely ineffective. I called Yamaha and quickly resolved my issue after a few minutes of discovery. They recommended firmware update which took 2 minutes.

Wonderful build and design. But doesn’t play certain CD’S display artist names, it skips when playing CD’S sometimes. Basically most of the features aren’t working properly…

Audio quality great. Ease of operation good. Size, perfect.

I was going to buy the Onkyo 6 disk CD player but I went with this option since it comes with a remote and a USB port to play MP3 and FLAC files. I connected it to my Sonos 5 as a component to my system and it works great! I don’t really have any complaints.

Enjoy sound quality when connected to old Yamaha V390 amplifier/receiver and old Infinity speakers

Solid player. Great specs re: playback THD. TOSLINK optical output is beneficial for using external high bit rate DAC. Better overall specs than other comparable players.

Had an old multichanger cd player finally breakdown and replaced it with this single change cd player. Very happy and easy to install.

Excellent product for the money . Older CD’s come back to life. Pair with a higher end receiver or use it with a pair of powered speakers for a an easy set up

Great, very nice design. Sometimes it can’t read my old CDs but otherwise works great.

Simple design but functional, easy to use. I used to have 5 disc, and the moving mechanism broke.

My new Yamaha S303 CD player was brand new and in perfect condition. It was delivered earlier than promised. I have a 1970’s vintage Sansui receiver that I had renovated. The refurbished Sansui sounded so good that I decided to buy a good CD player. No Regrets!

Doesn't support iPad or iPhone through the USB jack for streaming such as Spotify. Says "unsupported" on the display. Not sure why this has changed as my CD-S300 plays through the USB just fine. Read the manual - says S303 doesn't support this. WHY Yamaha, WHY? I'm returning the player. As for the player - it's very good.
