I'm writing this review cause I believe the one star was unfairly given. These speakers are not meant for home theater use. Even with the wifi for streaming music, that's not really their purpose. These powered reference monitors, hence the amplifier and the XLR and TRS outputs. They're meant to take all sound coloring out so that producers or DJ's can hear what the actual sound is like. So in a way, they are doing exactly what they're meant to do.
On that note though, value wise, still not a good buy. You can get two Yamaha HS8 Studio monitors for less and have much more sound.
Hope this helps people before purchasing. Just know what they are meant for. They're meant to show imperfections in audio.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
