I haven't played a musical instrument before, so this was a complete shot in the dark for what to acquire for personal learning about the basics of music anything... It certainly did that, but what it also showed me is that even a complete novice can tell if something isn't working properly. The problem that I had was that keys repeatedly registered incorrectly, specifically, the 'G' key below middle 'C' was flat, and wouldn't be recognized by programs like Flowkey when playing through the speakers on the keyboard. Thinking that this was a problem with my microphone, I asked a musically talented friend to double check me, they brought over a pitch test tuner and were able to verify this to my untrained ear. I have returned it a few weeks later.

I like the item. I wish it came with a pedal and weighted key. The velocity thing just doesn’t seem too earthshaking in my opinion.
