Yoshi's Woolly World is another great platformer on a console with no shortage of great platformers. It takes on the likeness of Kirby's Epic Yarn, and absolutely everything is crafted with care. It really feels like you're playing through a giant land of wool. Also, those who played and loved Yoshi's Island will feel right at home with the gameplay. It's a little on the short side, but there are plenty of collectibles and challenging levels hiding for those who seek them.

The gameplay in this game is fantastic. It has many platforms elements you'd expect , with a unique twist with this yarn filled world. The graphics are fantastic. Amiibo support works on almost all of your collection, and gives you a yoshi like said amiibo. The yarn amiibo allow you to have a computer play with you. There is a flutter mode in case things get too difficult, yes this yoshi game has some difficulty , especially compared to the last attempts on the ds / 3ds

Good times game right here. Beautiful visually and there's some challenge hidden in its' otherwise easy levels.

I've always been a fan of the Yoshi series of games, but the past few have left something to be desired. Nintendo really took a step forward and brought the Yoshi series back to greatness with Yoshi's Wooly World. I love the sense of exploration you get by trying to track down all the collectables. The challenge is there and the levels are fun enough that going back to find things you missed is just as fun as playing it for the first time. This is a perfect multiplayer game. With the lack of true "lives" it allows people who may not be as skilled in platformers to play along a life long pro and still have just as much fun.

I was skeptical first getting this game, but I'm happy to report that this game exceeded all of my expectations! It is a very cute game and it provides a lot of fun. The game provides good challenge and it is a blast to play with someone else. Even if you are a hardcore gamer you'll enjoy this game. Also I enjoy that this game is compatible with many Amiibos so you can put them to good use. Definitely would recommend purchasing this game.

This game is cute and fun. Great for beginners and still engaging for old pros and grizzled veterans.

Picked this up for Christmas for my 11 yr old son during a special wii u promo that Best Buy had running -- purchase one and get 40% off another. My son had mentioned this game and as a mom, I love Mario games. Yoshi is just adorable and my kiddo was pleasantly surprised to get this and another game. Was able to apply my gamers club to this purchase also. This is why I always shop Best Buy rather than anywhere else for video games!

Yoshi's Woolly World is the best Yoshi game in years. Each level feels different from the last and everything made out of yarn really makes the game feel really unique.

This game surprised me in both quality and difficulty. This game wasn't mind-blowingly hard, but it had more challenge than I ever expected out of a "cute" Yoshi game where everything is yarn. The platforming is great, the levels have solid length, there are new mechanics every other level, and there is never a shortage of Yoshi designs from which to pick. My 17 year wait for this sequel was not in vain.

Yoshi's Woolly World shines brightest while playing co-op with a friend or loved one. Especially if you have a lot of amiibos to scan into the game, as they each give Yoshi a different outfit! You and a friend can change into Ganon Yoshi, Mega Man Yoshi, R.O.B. Yoshi, DUCK HUNT YOSHI etc. Woolly World isn't the longest game, but if you're a Nintendo fan or just a fan of platformers, you'll adore it.

What an incredible addition to the Wii U game library! Such great visuals, excellent functionality with amiibos, and very fun gameplay. You will find yourself enthralled by the sheer aesthetics of the game. Oh and by the way....EVERYTHING IS SO CUTE! Enemies, bosses, you name it...all of them are cute! The character designs are absolutely spectacular. Definitely worth your money to buy it now!!!

I have a 5 year old son who loves this game. It is very easy to play and fun too.

When I first played this game back in the late 90s I was very fun to play and now that it has been remade. I brought it for my kindergarteners and with that said when they do play it on the weekends it provides hours of fun and laughter. With mild cartoonish violence no more then you will see in a episode of spongebob. And beside how much can kids have with a game made up of yarn.

The audio and visuals are fantastic. There are a ton of yoshi patterns to unlock. The level design is great and there are enough enemy types to keep things interesting. The bosses are fairly easy, but that fits the audience this game is aimed at. Where the real challenge lies is with the collectables. There are a ton to find and they really require exploring the levels thoroughly.

There are so many reason why this is one of the best Yoshi games I have ever played. The thought that they put into making this game and how they utilized all kinds of ways to use the yarn in the game. Also, I love that they made the whole game challenging and not just towards the end. It definitely reminds me of Super Mario and I would highly recommend this to anyone!!

Fun for adults and kids. Challenging enough and I love the secrets!

This was a Christmas present for my son but I think I have played it more than him at this point. It looks amazing, like my mom actually knitted the entire level and characters. There is a lot to do and I still am missing some of the collectible items in some of the levels I have played. If you like cuteness and platformers this is a definite must have.

Fun to play. Easy to pick up and control. Great family game.

This game is an absolute blast. I think the best part is that it's fun for everyone. There is a special "easy" mode that the elementary school aged kids can enjoy; and a standard mode of the older kids and grownups. An amazing world and a lot of fun. Not especially challenging; but the world is so vibrant that it's a joy to play in.

When I was a kid, I loved playing Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island on SNES. This game brings back the memories of playing as Yoshi especially throwing eggs and being the much-loved Yoshi once again! Graphics are very cute and different, but I love the diversity and idea of having everything appear as yarn. Very clever and innovative!
