Heartwarming and idealistic. I love Jimmy Stewart and Jean Arthur!

First and foremost: The title of this item says, "Includes Digital Copy." That is FALSE. This item does NOT include a digital copy. The movie itself is billed as a Frank Capra classic, as if it were merely a feel-good movie popular across almost all audiences. That is incorrect. The storyline is self-contradictory, highly controversial, and to a great extent disproved by later events (after 1938 when this film was made). The film is, very broadly, a Romeo-and-Juliet story about a young couple from two very different families, somewhat at odds with each other. One family is obviously very wealthy and powerful. The film tries to portray the second family as very different, but it actually is not: The second family is also rather wealthy and rather powerful in its own way, and simply takes a different approach to the application of its wealth and power. Made in 1938, the film totally miscalculates the unfolding worldwide political and military situation, apparently embracing smug isolationism. But if the viewer overlooks all of these larger, deeper issues, the film is heartwarming in a naive old-fashioned way.

This is a wonderful movie from the 30's that makes use of an all star cast. Stewart and Arthur are at their usual best in lead roles. However, Lionel Barrymore is the glue that makes the picture work so beautifully. A must have for any lover of old time movies.

frank capra and jimmy stewart were an excellent pair. in their first film together you can already see the magig that will unforld with mr smith goes to Washington and it's a wonderful life, a light funny comedy

Can't go wrong with this classic film. "You Can't Take It With You" is one of my favorite classic comedies. Love having it on blu-ray.

A Classic Film which could never be made today due to the lack of talent and out of touch individuals in Hollywood.

A light comedy with Jimmy Stewart. It's sweet without being cloying. If you need cheering up - this film will do it. Perfect for a rainy afternoon.

The movie itself is a classic - winning Best Picture. I bought this to join my Capra collection which are all digibook packaging. I thought this would be, as well, but ended up being typical snap package.
