The CLASSIC Mel Brooks epic comedy movie. Funny even if you haven't seen the original scary B&W classic "Frockinstene" movie! (Inside joke) Watch it several to get all the hidden jokes.

Ok, so I'm dated when I say I saw it when the movie first came out wayyyyy back in the 70's and I was a barely a teenager. It was funny then and after all this time it's still funny. It was in B&W then and still is. Excellent classic that is timeless.

The anniversary edition of Young Frankenstein comes with a nice slip cover for the movie collector in your family. The Blu-ray quality is much better than the standard DVD definition. This version seems to lack some of the special features found on the DVD release but it is still well worth picking up for any fan.

This is thee best version of the Frankenstein story there is. And Mel Brooks best .The cast was wonderful ,great in black & white. The picture has a lot of grain in it ,but that's how they shot the film, not the disc itself. I recommend this to anyone who wants to laugh out ,cause its that funny

speaking on the steelbook exclusive alone, you can't go wrong! a very nice design to add along side your other steelbooks. artwork both inside and out looks fantastic. more or less a repackaging of the old blu ray, which itself was A+ material, so with the new art, if you hadn't already owned, get on it!

What else can be said about one of the greatest comedies dealing with the horror genre. Ingeniously funny and witty in teh way only Mel Brooks can acheive and all of this with an all star cast. First film to acheive a level of success known today similar to Sean of the Dead. Would highly reccommend.

I buy all my movies at Best Buy. They always have what I am looking for and DVDs I have not thought about for awhile. I found Young Frankenstine and just had to buy it! Thank you Best Buy for you great merchandise selection, courteous staff and great customer service!

I already had this title in the Mel Brook;s collection as well as a stand alone title. However, I liked the cover well enough to replace the stand alone, giving it to another Mel Brooks fan. It is a dated but fun B&W film with Gene Wilder and other good actors.

Even 46 years later, this movie is somehow still hilarious and relevant. I have had it on VHS since I was a kid (I'm only 24!), and I decided to buy a more updated copy so I can watch it whenever I want!!

I have had more of a flair for the old fashioned style of film. Parody is not what it used to be anymore...its not even funny. This, was a passion project for Gene Wilder and it does not disappoint. Brilliantly written, acted and directed. Great on laughs. Not a film for dummies though.

Arguably Mel Brooks' best film (though I am very fond of Spaceballs). After so many decades, this film is still hilarious and still is a fantastic watch. Gene Wilder and the other cast members are spot on. If you haven't picked this up yet, the price is great, and it's full of bonus features.

This movie is the perfect comedy. Everything it does, stands for, jokes about is perfect. The film is completely timeless and will be a top notch comedy until the end pf the world. Also this edition comes with a totally awesome steelbook case with a classic cover art.

Am so glad to have found his Blu-ray copy here for a very reasonable price. It is a parody of a horror movie, and funny enough that can be watched over and over. This is better than Prozac and Xanax put together!

Saw this in theater the day it was released and knew it was an instant classic! Great performances by Wilder, Garr, Leachman, Feldman and one of the great Cameo appearances of all time in Gene Hackman! Blue ray version is amazing with great bonus features!

It's impossible to not laugh when watching this classic. My son and I have the script memorized and say the lines along with the actors. We even quote them during appropriate times when not watching the movie and have gut busting laughs. A must for any movie library.

When it first came out (way back when) it was my second favorite Mel Brooks movie, behind Blazing Saddles. As I have watched them both several times since, I appreciate the genius of this movie more and more. I even consider it one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time.

Yes, I already had the DVD but for the cheap price I just had to pick this up in the spur of the moment while in the store for another purchase. Top notch performances and witty dialogue keeps this classic worthy after all these years.

Hilarious film -- but you knew that already! But now it's available as a beautiful Steelbook! (And yes, it is a Steelbook. Sometime ago the website was iffy about that.) So just buy it already! (If you haven't already of course!) "Frau Bluccher!"

One of my most favorite movies of all time. Mel Brooks is a great director. Gene Wilder is outstanding in his role as Doctor Frankenstein. This great acted and hilarious movie.
