Funny movie and premise but it has moments where it is not so great.

Young Frankenstein is one of those comedy movies that sort of set the bar for all other forms of farce and satire. I've said it before in reviews on this site but there's no other way to describe it, Mel Brooks is a comedic genius. This version of the movie is a little short on extras but who cares. The movie is great by itself. If you don't own it, go buy it now.

This movie gets better every time I watch it...just a great Komedi as you say it. Gene Wilder is out of his mind here...his performance is inspired...Peter Boyle is the best Frankenstein ever...Teri Garr and Marty Feldman give stellar supporting performances as does Cloris Leachman...Gene Hackman is awsome too...

Classic comedy given the star treatment on its conversion to Blu-Ray. Picture quality is excellent, and the extras are informative and hilarious. If you were a fan of this film in the past, this blu-ray is a must-own.

The Producers is my favorite Mel Brooks film but this is a close second. For anyone who loves Frankenstien, Gene Wilder, or Mel Brooks this is a must.

Contrary to popular public opinion, I just wasn't really all that impressed with this film. It does have some funny material, but it never had me in gut-wrenching laughter. The dvd release is good and features some bonus material that fans will enjoy.
