Beautiful animation telling a love story with a twist. Every detail is important, so watch carefully. Is it embarrassing sometimes? Yes, but so is being a teenager!

I'm not the usual Japanese anime kinda guy. Even though I grew up on Starblazers, Speed Racer, and RoboTech, A friend tried to show me Akira 30 years ago and I wasn't interested in the least. I finally saw it recently and I think it's good but over-rated. Ghost in the Shell is another story, though. I really liked that one. So anyway, this movie was fantastic. I can't say enough about it. I saw this one after Weathering With You, and at first, I thought it wasn't as good. Once it gets going though I was hooked. Give it a try. It's really good.

I had seen this with my girlfriend when it came out in theaters, and my goodness I was in for an experience. We were a bit hesitant when they started having children cartoon previews, but let me say once the movie started up it was a wild ride that by the end of it I had shed some tears on more than one occasion. Fast forward to a few months ago, I saw Spirited Away on Blu-Ray and while it was creative and a master piece in its own right, I don't understand how adults can say Your Name isn't BETTER than it. I suppose that's the nostalgia talking. Regardless, you will not be disappointed with this film. We plan on showing this to our family who isn't so anime friendly, because it's that good.

Thought it was a pretty good movie and a good twist. Good soundtrack and graphics. I'd recommend it to any fans of Love Story animes.

Great add to the collection...We wanted watch as y=time allowed. Cost made it attractive to buy rather than rent or buy online

This movie is one of the best I have seen from Japan. The voice acting is top notch and the animation is beautiful. The storyline really sucks you in and even my boyfriend who does not normally like Japanese animated films was entertained. He said that with most movies he has seen, he did not care about the romantic couples the movie was focused on. This one was different though as he actually cared what happened to the two main characters. If you’re doubting buying this movie or not, I would absolutely suggest purchasing it.
