Yu Yu Hakusho was a great anime released in Japan in the 1990's, and then localized to the U.S. audience on Toonami in the early 2000's. ~15+ years later, it has re-surfaced on both DVD and Blu Ray. This is the first of 4 seasons (disc sets) of the show. The show follows the exploits of Yusuke Urameshi as a spirit detective, how he got to that point, and his adventures through it. The cast is memorable, and the plot is pretty unique from other shows. The Blu Ray is very clear, with both English (dub) or Japanese (sub) voicing options. This is great show at a great price. Discover (or rediscover) this anime classic.

What makes Yu Yu Hakusho special are interesting fights and character development. The first season is a bit rough compared to later on but once the team is assembled things start coming together. Has dual audio(ENG/JP) and full ENG subtitles as well as subtitles for just untranslated visuals. Extras are limited with just text less opening and closing.

This is an awesome classic anime that is wonderful to own on Blu Ray! Crystal clear video and wonderful to watch again if you've seen it before, and a great choice for something classic if you've never seen it, it's a neat story with memorable characters.

FUNimation released one of the greatest anime's of all time on blu ray. There are four volumes released by them. They were able to acquire the Japanese blu ray masters and they've gone back and remixed the dub track with new lines and TrueHD 5.1 track!

Can't say enough good things about this release. I could talk about the picture & sound quality etc., but here's the bottom line..if you're a fan of Yu Yu Hakusho Buy.This. Blu-ray.

Happy to finally see YuYu Hakusho got a Blu-ray upgrade! Had been years since first watching it so to get a piece of it was overwhelmingly nostalgic! Super excited to have this in my collection of movies and show!

I loved this show as a teen and I didn't get to see all the episodes from the start, so when the blu ray went on sale it was a no brainer to get. The show has a great story line and will keep you hocked.

this series was so fun to watch, it feels like the combat in the series mimic dbz a bit in the attack actions such as energy shots and end of the world scenarios but its quite humorous too

One of the grittiest, gutsiest anime ever produced. This show has a whole lotta heart, and it shines through even now, over 25 years later.

This is an anime that I can watch over and over so I knew I just had to buy it. You should too. After one episode, you're pretty much hooked.

One of the greatest shounen series of all time. If you enjoy Hunter X Hunter which is another one of Togashi's work than watch this.

Great throwback anime. The next anime series to watch after Dragonball Z. Was finally on sale for only $9, so it was a must grab

these Blu rays are incredible, the remastering was fantastic. i highly recommend this series to anyone who loves anime!

The first season is slow but necessary to begin one of the greatest Shonen series. Great action and the bluray looks gorgeous.
