We have had our drone for about a month now. The battery life is maybe 20 minutes max, recommend several additional batteries if you want to accomplish anything. The drone handle well but we have had some issues with it. The gimble doesn't center every time it's flown, it seems to be hit or miss. We also had a problem with the drone syncing to the remote and had to do a bunch of resets. Other than this issues which we have fixed I think it was a good buy. We really enjoy the pictures and the amazing quality.

Okay, I'll admit that I returned this purchase but not because it was terrible at all... I gave it all stars. It was indeed a wonderful experience flying through the air and in my community. The camera is excellent and video superb. It is definitely a stable flight and awesome for me a beginner, though it's not a child's play thing. Then why did I return it, I over spent on my Holiday Budget. I wanted to stay happily married. Hehe

great price, excellent camera and video with easy flight.

I chose the Typhoon 4K over its similar model for GoPro and several others on display at my local store, due to its rugged build, cool looks and live camera feed to the control module. Am in the process of FAA registration so I can start flying and using this. I am practicing with smaller drones in the meantime to get the hang of it.

Best price and quality, feature value. Very simple to use. But use it wisely, be patient to feel it, learn it. Use open spaces at first. Register with FAA before first flight.

My first drone was a Typhoon G. I bought it last year. It flew great. All Auto-pilot functions worked well. The camera use with the Hero 4 was a pain in the rear. I decided to get the 4K Typhoon this year and it is great. You do the same setup for flight you did before without having to mess with the camera. The images are beautiful and the video is fluid. The gimbal is very stable and reveals very little movement and zero shaking. The drone is quiet also. I filmed several animals from only 15 to 25 feet up, on the maiden flight...None were aware I was overhead. AND, of course, since it has been a year since my first drone purchase, I paid only a $100 more than I did for the G. For the price, this rocks.

Cyber Monday purchase was $200 off! Couldn't pass it up. As for the quad, beautiful pictures and the return home features is awesome. I went with this drone as it didn't have the fly away issues the DJI has had.

This drone is of good quality and build. It is rather large which helps it stay stable throughout the flight envelope. The box contains everything you need to go out and fly (right after you charge all the batteries). It also has a hand help gimbal device that lets you take the camera off the aircraft and use it on the ground for other projects. The videos and photos that you get are of very good quality in all lighting conditions. The remote and the app (for the handheld) work very good and have adjustments for your needs on the video and photos. While the battery is new you would expect it to last pretty much to specifications and it seems to do just that. I've gotten about 28 minutes out of the longest flight in really calm air. I've gotten about 22 minutes out of it in a little more challenging air. I've tried a few flights at the upper limit of the wind maximum of 12MPH (mine 10MPH) it was a bit rocky and was having a little trouble maintaining position over the ground but that is to be expected. It did stay within 3-4 feet of the original takeoff position in those conditions which isn't bad. If you want something you don't have to use extras, like your cell phone, then this is a good deal.

This was my first “real” UAS, and it was a great first step into that world. I would say the DJI Spark is a better choice today, it is much more stable and easier to trust at some distance. But the Q500 4K offers the 4K video, handheld gimbal and other features the Spark misses.

The copter is very easy to fly and has a decent range. The included controller works quite well and has a quality built-in screen. The camera gimbal takes rock-stable video. Charge time on the battery is quick. The copter is pretty durable as well, and has survived a few minor crashes and spills as I learned how to operate it. My issues that hold it back from 5 stars is that the copter does not have any obstacle avoidance features at all, and its smart camera 'watch me' and 'follow me' features both require the Wizard remote, which is not included with the product. Additionally, it has somewhat inaccurate no-fly zone data, so there have been a few instances where I have attempted to fly it in an area that is known legal with permission, but the copter will lock down and refuse to take off. This can be circumvented with a firmware patch, but it would be better if the default firmware only locked the copter down in actual no-fly zones.

Such a great drone, bought this one over the dji competitor because of the removable camera and gimble.

The Q500 has been a good machine. I bought it for random aerial filming which it is pretty good at. It is not as fast as other filming drones but does do a decent job. I fly FPV race drones 99% of the time for footage and just use the Q500 for filler shots.

Straight out of the box, this is awesome. Ready to fly and have a lot of fun with.

It's a great looking drone when compared to the Dji drone that I first bought.. its larger and heavier so it will be more stable in wind.. loving it so far..

The drone is very easy to fly . I love all the features it has . I can have it follow me I can also have it come home and it will land on its own . It also takes great pictures and video . It's the best drone for beginners and pros alike . This drone has too many features to list ...but take it from a satisfied customer this drone is worth the money . You won't regret buying this drone . Happy safe flying .
