YUNEEC - Typhoon 4K Quadcopter with Carrying Case is the best deal out there! The case also has wheels so you can roll it around rather than carrying it around The Quality of the drone and the camera is out of this world. The camera when flying never shakes & the picture never gets distorted, you can also zoom in and zoom out without losing focus and the drone flies perfectly. This deal is fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. I would definitely recommend this.

This drone is amazing. So easy to fly right out of the box. I've had previous experience flying R/C planes before but it makes no difference. I had my wife flying her first try. The camera footage is clear and fun. This is a great machine. I can highly recommend this drone to anyone.

This unit came well packed and in perfect condition. It's easy and fun to operate. As long as you follow safety rules and exercise good judgment you will have many hours of flying time.

Let me first say, this is my first drone. I was torn between this one and the DJI Phantom Pro. I went with this one due to its constant upgrades/updates from Yuneec and how simple everyone said it was. Oh, and that it had a built in screen and I didn't need to use my phone of iPad. Other than charging the batteries, it really is ready to fly out of the box (after you screw the propellers on, lol). It was so easy to take off and having the option of Smart, Angle and Home, made it worry free. The Follow Me and Watch me features are awesome. I usually pick up 13-16 satellites, so its solid. I even flew it in high winds (12-15mpg with 20mpg gusts) and it keeps it position really well. I have not used the Steadygrip and probably won't. Its a great feature, but I wanted aerial shots. The ONLY downside I've found yet is the box. For the extra hundred they get, you are only getting an aluminum case with carry handle. you get the same cheap styrofoam insert you get with the cheaper version that comes in a box. And they really should have put some kind of strap. Its good size and a bit awkward with just the handle. All that said, it comes with a 16gb memory card with your full manual installed, along with videos, very nice. And theres plenty of room to use it in the camera itself. A little word to the wise, but a Sandisk Extreme PRO memory card, I suggest the 64gb as the battery will die before you use up all the space. It def flies 20-25 minutes and the controller makes noise and vibrates HARD to let you know the battery is dying and to bring it home. In fact, when it gets so low, it limits the altitude it came climb to. Its def beginner friendly. My third flight and i'm getting really comfortable with it, even landings are easy.

Drone flies and operates very well and easy to use. Distance is not as great as a DJI product (previously owned phantom 2 vision+). If flying within 1000-1400 feet it is excellent! 4K quality is not as crisp as DJI but still very clear. The SteadyGrip is an Excellent concept however when using AA batteries it will only operate about 10 minutes then will start having connectivity issues and giving sd card errors. Even with rechargeable batteries the time is very limited. If Yuneec would make the SteadyGrip with a rechargeable battery like the new DJI Osmo that can last almost an hour this Drone/SteadyGrip package would be excellent!!! There are pros and cons to every drone system DJI has better distance, where Yuneec has better battery life and doesn't require to use personal device. The SteadyGrip, Yuneec uses AA and short recording time but the up side is the camera is interchangeable with the drone. The DJI Osmo uses a proprietary rechargeable battery with almost an hour recording time and has its own camera. The Osmo will be able to use the X3 from the inspire 1 drone but as of now there is firmware compatibility issues. So overall Yuneec has made a good product combo (Drone/SteadyGrip) but if they made slight modification (mainly SteadyGrip battery life) the combo could be excellent!!!

Great product, easy to fly right out of the box. It even keeps me legal.

The drone was great at first but unfortunately one of the motors malfunctioned and the drone came crashing down. Since you can not repair them with ease, I felt it was better to return and get my $ back.

First drone ever purchased, smooth flights, excellent camera system, great flight times, very stable even for first time pilots, would highly recommend one.

I'll start off by saying that this drone did work as advertised. It was easy to setup and get going. All I had to do was charge the batteries. Piloting it was a breeze with its turtle/rabbit slider and smart mode. Gimble also works as expected and it takes great video. It even gets about 20 min of flying time as the company states. I started experiencing connectivity issues when I grew more comfortable with flying it and wanted to take it out further. Anything beyond 2000 feet and the video feed starts getting sketchy. I couldn't make it out to the supposed half-mile range (approx 2600 feet) without getting connection errors over and over again. At that distance you care barely see the drone so even piloting by line of sight (LOS) is practically impossible. I would have to flip the return to home switch and hope that it would work and come back safe (which it did). I performed a firmware update, but that just increased the drone's speed and not its range. This is a solid drone that works great within LOS, but for this price, I expected at least a bit more range as far as having a video feed. Would still recommend if you don't care about going long distance, bu I'm going to try the Phantom 3 now.

I got my Typhoon 4K about a month ago and absolutely love it. I used to have a Phantom 2+ and am really glad to have upgraded. The built in display on the controller is a real plus and I really like that I got the one that includes a case to carry the drone and all the accessories. It used to take me up to 20 minutes to get my old drone to talk to my iPhone. The built in display allows me to be flying in 2 minutes every time.

I had been wanting to get a drone for a long time, and just could not find the right price point to start out with but I really wanted a drone that had a good camera. At first I bought a 3DR Solo around Black Friday 2016 after reading decent reviews so I cashed out my My Best Buy Points and picked it up along with a new tablet and a Go Pro. Once I got my new drone set it up and charged everything that was as far as it got no matter what I did the drone would never take off; I would exchange it for 2 more all with the same results it never would fly. So I gave up on the Solo and returned it and got my points back and just waited for one of the other big names to come down to my price point. So in the summer of 2017 B and H Photo had the Q500 on sale for half price so I cashed out my points again and called BB for a price match which they did and 2 days later I got my drone but this time after charging everything up I was up in the air and hooked. I know that everyone drinks DJI's KoolAid but I must say I love what Yuneec has done. The all in one controller is great no need to find the right phone or tablet and no need for a Go Pro. The Q500 had it all. It is a great beginner drone and has a lot of features to work with and not be overwhelmed. Now the drone is slow with about 17 mph at max in Angle mode and the screen on the remote can be choppy but despite those flaws I still highly recommend this drone as a starter. So far after 6 months of flying I have not had any crashes caused by user error now I did have one fatal crash not long after I got the drone but that was due to hardware failure and Yuneec gladly repaired and replaced everything that broke on the drone for free including the camera that was ripped off from the fall in the woods and never retrieved. Customer Service was fair and the service department was fantastic in keeping me informed of all the repair updates. I have enjoyed this drone ever since and as a matter of fact it fueled a new habit and I just recently bought the Typhoon H which is a great drone but I could not have made that leap without the Q500. I still fly the Q500 and love it along with the H. You will not regret this purchase.

I've used my Yuneec Q5004K for about a month now. Out of the package, everything looked so elegant. I like the black finish, the hand-held gimbal, extra sun deflector, extra battery, extra propeller and the screen on the controller. It was so easy to fly and to land. I like the smart mode that watches me and the follow me mode. The propeller is longer than the DJi's. It needs to be attached when going to be used and detached every time it's going to be stored so that it will fit in the supplied carrying case. The drone in itself is 5 stars. From the easiness in flight to making it come home on its own and having the control or making an automatic landing. It works awesome. The versatility of the 4K camera with the supplied handheld gimbal makes me create a lot of beautiful shots from aerial view to ground panning. The quality and stability of the captured videos are excellent. The automatic color adjustment on daytime for videos and stills which can also be set manually as professional settings can be chosen from the setting menu is an excellent option. When flying at night, the night mode option is darker than the normal viewing option. As a Professional Photographer and Cinematographer, these choices are very important for me. A very sturdy and reliable drone, I could say. It took quite a good abuse since I crashed it 4 times already. It survived a dip in the lake, 2 detached camera, and 3 broken propellers. It still looks and flew like brand new until now. The packaging is 4 stars, since the aluminum black box looks so thin and flimsy to carry around. I don't think this kind of packaging will take all the abuses in years of travelling and shoots that I'm going to do. It would be good also if the battery charger can accommodate two batteries. The suction that comes with the sun deflector always falls off. A better suction is needed for it to stick to the screen. All in all, I am very happy with these drone and I have been recommending this to my friends that are looking to buy a drone. Excellent product!

I got this as a gift for my brother for Christmas. I read reviews and knew this one was the one to get. He absolutely loved it! Pictures & videos are very clear!! Shipping was excellent

Before I purchased I wanted to make sure that I get a drone that is easy to fly and with great features, so I did a lot of research. If you're looking for a drone with smart features to compliment the picture this is the one! While it may not be the fastest drone it makes up for it in it's ease of use. The safety features can be annoying at times but you can switch the drone into a manual mode. I'd recommend this to anyone new to flying drones, but if you wanted more speed plus all the features in this one look at the Typhoon H.
