basic protection

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As I'm still waiting for the phone I pre-ordered on 22 Feb, (it's now 5 Mar and release date for the phone was 25 Feb), how can I give a proper review? If Best Buy cannot fulfill the order within the next few days I will likely cancel the order and return this case. All I can say about the case is that it looks ok for my needs. The side edge is textured for a better grip. At the corner where the camera cutout is, there is only case material for the side of the phone, not any for the back of the phone, thus you can easily flex the corner inward (see the picture). So there's less rigidity of the case at that corner, but it probably isn't a problem when a phone is installed in the case. If you frequently drop your phone, you might consider something else though.

Wish I bought this first!

Thin with comfortable ridged side grips feels secure when I am snapping pics, pulling out of pocket, etc. Would recommend this product for Samsung Galaxy phones.

Ok but not great

The cut out around the camera area appears weak. The black rubber side grip material is not comfortable. Almost feels sharp on your fingers. I returned the case.
