While I preferred they hadn’t, I believe they are doing their job protecting the lens. Very Easy to install. All in all good purchase.

Did crack after a month, which is better than the camera lenses cracking. Hoping to get a replacement. A bit pricey though. Can’t compare to other brands this was my first time buying these covers.
