It fell off my watch face! Not worth the money I paid for it!

Product difficult to install, didn't keep, returned

3 weeks after purchase 2 corners curled up &a Off.

I have gone through 3 of these watch protectors!!!! They will stay on the flat surface of the watch but peel off the edges especially in the corners and that's with a cover on the watch already!! You can see the corner peeling up in the photo

This screen protector didn't even last 12 hours before the edges started loosening up.

The Zagg screen protector fits my watch well. Because the Apple Screen curves off at the edges, it will make installing the protector a little more difficult. The instructions with the protector were good and I followed them closely. Alignment was easy with the "yellow" colored guide to show where the protector should fit. Only drawback I had were 2 small bubbles that didn't come out after waiting for several hours. The smaller micro-bubbles and cloudiness disappeared in a few hours like the instructions said. The larger bubbles on the curved part of the screen did not come out. Not real noticeable but there. So when you do the install make sure you press out ALL the bubbles including on the edges the best you can. Otherwise the protector stays down and is not noticeable. Only giveaway is feeling the edge of the protector on the bottom part of the curved glass just before it meets the case.

I've had it on for eight months and only recently had a corner starting to come up. Otherwise it's been a great cover. Not visible, looks consistent with unshielded watch. I've bumped my watchface hard against things several times and there's no sign of scratch or damage. The install instructions are not clear. DO check out supplemental install instruction sources to prevent minor but difference-making errors in install.

I ordered this online and received it two days letter. Very impressed with Best Buy delivery time. The product was easy to put on my Apple Watch. I've noticed a very slight bit of lifting at the corners but have been pressing them down throughout the day and it seems to be holding up. I'm not worried, however, because this product comes with a lifetime replacement guarantee from ZAGG. This is an added bonus. After I applied the shield, I cannot even tell it is there. The close up image is taken with my iPhone macro lens to show you how minimal the corner lifting is.

This is my first Zagg HD Clear Shield after breaking three previous Glass Luxe covers for my 42mm Watch Series 2 all of which kept my watch from being damaged. The HD Clear Shield is a plastic cover that is installed over the face of the watch. I had the Best Buy sales person install it as I didn't trust I would do it correctly. After installation, the HD Clear Shield had six significant bubbles under it which the sales rep said would go away after a few days. He was right and they did disappear without a trace. The HD Clear Shield is a thing of beauty and has held up well for a month now. Not nearly as easily snagged or caught like the old glass cover. I recommend the HD Clear highly! Looks good too!

I found the screen protector difficult to apply, not because of air bubbles (which even though there were some they went away just as the instructions said they would), but because the edges didn't seem to want to stay down very well. Also, they give you an alcohol cloth to "prime" the protector, which is necessary or else it won't stick, but the extremely difficult thing to do is to get all the fibers off that the alcohol cloth (somehow) had on it. This was very frustrating and I had to take the protector off so I could get the fibers off (that I didn't see before applying) and reapply the protector. All that being said, I think I could do it with success if I had to do it again, and though the top edge of mine appears that it will come right off, I've had it for a couple months now and it has stayed on perfectly. I think the top of the protector would not appear like this if I didn't have to take it off and reapply.

I love the protection that this screen protector gives and I love the lifetime replacement warranty from Zagg. This is just some what of a pain to put on a watch with the curved edges is my only complaint.

Update: a week later I had to use my lifetime warranty with ZAGG because a bubble suddenly appeared in the screen protector. I had to pay $4 for shipping but still cheaper than buying a new one.

When given the opportunity, I have always purchased a Zagg screen protector over the other available options. But this time has left me very disappointed. It appears that the adhesive formula has been changed according to the different installation instructions - now including a "primer" wipe in lieu of a standard alcohol wipe. This could just be a name change for the wipe, but the directions instruct you to wipe this primer on the entire adhesive surface of the protective film to activate it (which is a new step, as I recall). I have installed numerous Zagg products over the years, and also do adhesive vinyl graphic installation so I'm not treading into unfamiliar territory here. After following the directions, the screen protector never did effectively bond to the radiused corners of the watch screen. I took the band off of the watch, removed the bumper case, and applied consistent pressure to all four corners to smooth them down. Nothing would keep the corners adhered properly. This problem was exacerbated after reinstalling the bumper case the next morning. Since the adhesive bond was never strong enough to hold, all four corners of the screen protector stick straight out to the sides like little wings. They have magically gotten lint stuck to the undersides, but they wouldn't stick to the screen as designed. I don't know why Zagg would have changed the type of adhesive, but in this case it was not for the better. I will say that the film itself still does a fine job at preventing your screen from getting scratched - I'm just not sure how much longer I am willing to see dirt at all four corners of my watch face and will look for other replacement options.

The screen protector does its job but the instructions are severely lacking. Even if you go to the web page you will only find a generic video for the iPhone screen protector installation not the apple watch. I even looked online for a video but couldn't find one. The edges are hard to keep on, maybe because of the hard yellow plastic that its attached to but you can't pull that part off until the screen protector sticks to the watch face. The edges started to come up 2 weeks after I installed it. I would recommend you pay to have best buy install it to avoid the hassle. Also, I read online that best buy will replace the screen protector if it peels off and they installed it. Not sure if this is true so you might want to check on that but if it is, definitely spend the money to have them install it for you.

This profuct is definitely worth buying. I'm quite clumsy and this screen protector, on more than one occasion, saved my watch from needing to be replaced. Recently, I put a pretty deep scratch into the protector and my watch was perfectly fine underneath. Not only did it save my watch but the product has a lifetime warrently from Zagg, and since it was badly scratched, I just went to their website and ordered a new one, no hassle! You just have to be sure to keep the old screen protector to send back as proof of purchase. Not only does it consistently protect against scratches, but the clarity and fit of the product on my watch is brilliant. I'm on the go a lot, so I use my watch throughout my day very frequently and it's important to me that it looks and feels good. This product doesn't detract from the functionality, clarity, or style of my watch. There are no bubbles and no lifted edges. This product is amazing!

I made the mistake of lifting a corner to get an air bubble out. If you look at the instructions, it states that micro bubbles will go away on their own. If you re-lift, you will forever (once/twice a week) have to keep reapplying pressure to the corner you re-lifted. I work in a tough environment where my Apple Watch gets hit by freight constantly. At the right angle, you can see the pressure grooves left on the ZAGG, but better than on the actual screen. Would still recommend as a buy.

I LOVE Zagg shields and buy them for all my products. This one though doesn't seem to be upto Zagg's quality standards and i wish they had more options besides this one. The installation was difficult and I had to keep my fingers pressed on the corners/edges for a while before the shield adhered to the watch. I wish they had the glass one. But it's a lot better than having no protection and letting this expensive watch get all scratched up.

I wore my 0 gen apple watch with no protector for 2 years and it practically looks new. Bought a gen 3 lte and got a scratch the first day. Immediately put this on. It protects fine, but the protector doesnt go near the rounded edge of the watch face. The longer I've had it on, the better it stays, but the first 2-3 weeks, I was constantly applying pressure to the edges to get the protector to stay on.

I purchased this item during the same time when I bought the Apple Watch. Before purchasing, I had the impression that Best Buy would install for free. However it would have been $15 to have Geek Squad install. Decided to install myself and make sure you follow the directions clearly! I had to reapply and I trapped some fibers under the protector. Overall its a great product and so far it's protecting very well! Very clear also
