I try to buy the glass versions that let the most light through. Overall, they seem to work well but I've never had a ZAGG shield last more than about 12 months before they crack and/or start delaminating from the phone screen. The good news is I've always registered my shields and ZAGG has always stood behind their product and sent me a new shield once I fill out the info on their website. I think I get hit with shipping and some other charge but not the full purchase price. So, I would say almost every phone I've owned gets 1 purchased by me and a second shield later when the first one cracks. And...I'm super careful with my phone. These things crack on their own eventually.
