You have to be looking at your phone straight on to be able to view your screen. This helps when your logging in to a website out in public. I was disappointed that it cracked in 2 places within the week and I didn't drop my phone.

Does the job, keep things private

You need to be careful (and I was not). Great for contractors that don't want customers overlooking their shoulder watching then typing IM or chatting with workers and getting information. It will darken the display a tad vs naked glass but that comes with any privacy filter, small tradeoff for privacy.
