The thicker material (compared to plastic) makes for a more confident protection, but it also makes it not as receptive to the touch. I like that it doesn't leave fingerprint marks. I would've preferred that it covered the whole phone, but at least you can rest easy that it would be compatible with most phone cases. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and confident that my new iPhone SE is well-protected.
