Great install kit, good feel, terrible durability

Thanks to their "warranty," I'm now on my 3rd Zagg screen protector in two months. Thankfully, I've only had to pay for the shipping on it once as they have been kind enough to waive the most recent $5.99 shipping fee due to the proximity of the last issue. The primary issue is the phone has a slightly curved screen at the edges, and the supplied protector hangs over the edge. This creates a stress point and allows the screen to break. No screen has lasted more than 72 hours without cracking for me. Channeling Steve Job's about the iPhone 4, this is what the company sent me: "I also wanted to recommend that you would not store your phone in your pocket while not in use. While it does seem like a safe, soft place to store it when you sit down or turn etc...you are actually putting pressure on the corners of your phone and subsequently the InvisibleShield as well." Evidently phones don't go into pockets anymore because the screen protectors are too brittle. Perhaps if you keep your phone in a portfolio case and keep it in a purse, this screen protector will serve you well. Otherwise, keep looking... I know I am.

The screen protector cracked very easily after I first bought it. I have had it maybe 3 weeks and it's already got a mystery crack after I took it out of my pocket one day. Seems a little fragile to me. The upside is the lifetime warranty where I only have to pay shipping to replace my screen. This will stand true for the however long I have this phone and screen protector so I might go through a few of these over the next couple years of owning my pixel 3. The edges of the protector do leave a small (0.2 mm) gap on the screen where it is not covered and this causes some slight distorion from the RGB nodes (hardly noticeable after a while). The blue light filter is great because I want to protect my eyes. I find the best selling points to be the blue light filter and the warranty. Overall quality might be a little lacking but I will continue to use Zagg because of the warranty.

Great blue light filter, Alignment tool needs work

The screen protector does a good job reducing eye strain and the cut appears to be perfect. Protector does not block the front wide-angle camera and testing with flash confirms this. My problem is that the alignment tool seems to set the protector a little to the left. Since this is a perfect cut and the screen is curved, any offset means that the screen protector will lift on the left edges. Lint and dust is already getting caught under there and I'm sure the screen will not last long as installed. I will exchange the screen protector and try to install without the tool to see if it's better. I think this protector can move to the right 1mm and should still clear the front camera. Can't recommend right now unless you want to hope for a good alignment, so you can use the awesome blue light protection for your eyes.

I purchased this screen protector brand in the past and have been pleased. This product for the Google Pixel 3 isn't worth the 45 dollars they charge for it. The first time my phone dropped the screen protector shattered, I hadn't had it on my phone for a week. I got the replacement after paying for the shipping with the company. I had paid to put the first one on at Best Buy ($11 bucks I think), I didn't want to pay for that service again so I attempted to put the protector on myself. Even with the guide this proofed to be a challenge. I ended up not being able to get the screen protector on without a lot of bubbles. I ended up saying forget it and have gone without a protector.

With the this screen protector I also bought the service for getting the screen installed. The person who assisted me in putting on the screen protector correctly told me that the cut of the glass was not smoothed so no matter how many times he tried, he could not install the screen without getting dust particles stuck in there. On top of not having smoothed edges, When moving my finger against the edge of the screen, my fingers would have scratches from the screen protector. When I returned the screen protector, the person processing my return who has to take the screen off had his fingers bleed just from coming into contact with the screen. I thought that this was just the result from one screen, however from opening up several different screens, that is not the case.

The screen cracked within a week of installing it. I have no idea why. I hadn't dropped my phone. (since I installed a pop socket I've only dropped it once). Then about two weeks after that I did prop my phone and wow, spider cracks in several places. I was very unhappy that I had to pay almost 50 bucks for the darned thing in the first place. But it was the only one they had that fit my phone (pixel 3) and it doesn't even do that! It covers part of the rear facing camera so there is a blur in one corner of any pictures I take. And here I am getting a replacement. This one better last more than a week.

Even when using the easy apply tray, the glass is a little too wide, so it always creeps up into the phone's slightly curved edges — which means you will always have a long bubble along at least part of the perimeter of the protector. Even if you can overcome that issue though, the cutout for the two front cameras will partially obscure the edge of the left lens (the one used for wide angle shots) so that there will always be a glow in the lower left corner of photos you take with it. There's simply no way to get this thing on right between those two issues, it's just proportionally wrong.

I purchased this today (12/7/2018) and installed it without issue. The wide angle front camera is not blocked at all (it's close, but not blocked). The protector fits perfectly on the phone with no ghosting. The install was relatively easy (just follow the instructions). I've seem some reviews state otherwise, and all I can think is that they didn't install it correctly. The review talking about the edges being too sharp is way off as well.

I liked the idea of it, and the application was very easy, I managed to get it on perfectly with no bubbles. However it did not fit my Google pixel 3 with the otterbox defender case. Once I snapped on the hard shell the screen protector started to bubble up on the top and bottom of my phone. I tried various things to get it to stay down and not bubble up but the screen protector is just a tiny bit too long, nothing I tried worked. The bubbles were way too large to ignore. Bummed. I really liked the screen protector but I like my OtterBox more.

When placed correctly, this screen protector causes issues with the wide-angle camera. This is especially true when the screen brightens as a "flash" -- the reflection from the edge of the screen protector will ruin the left hand side and lower left of the image. Cracked the third day after putting it on after a drop from about a foot onto a flat surface. Sure, the phone is okay, but it would've been fine even without the screen protector. A screen protector is not useful if you have to continually replace it after soft drops. Application was simple.

Feels of great quality easy installation comes with a snap on guard that allows perfect alignment when installating by yourself. Makes it impossible to screw up and I had no bubbles afterwards extremely easy process. I have it paired with the pixel fabric case and over all it fits well my only gripe as probably stated in other reviews is that this glass screen protector doesn't cover fully or even close. Speakers and dual cameras are exposed in a great deal. For $45 you would think it Zagg would have product a full covered screen but none the less the look and feel of this screen protector is amazing!

The description is a little misleading, it says case friendly however that is not entirely true. I purchased it because it was the only choice they had for the Pixel 3 the salesman installed it the put it in the OtterBox defender which I had also just purchased, it pushed the corners up. He tells me it happens with all of them but OtterBox makes a screen protector specifically for their cases we just don't carry them. I returned the OtterBox and settled for a cheesy bumper case just so I wouldn't have to leave with my brand new phone unprotected.

I have put on a few screen protectors in the past. Hardest part was getting it to align correctly. Not sure how long this has been around, but it came with a plastic piece that fits on the front of the phone to remove all doubt the screen is being put on straight. I didn't have any issues with it blocking the camera or not adhering to the screen in all corners. Only issue I am running into is installing the otter box defender, it is pulling up all 4 corners of the screen. I will wait longer to see if the screen will adhere stronger and not have that issue.

As always the quality and feel of Zagg glass is incredible. The one noticeable problem is that when you use the template to install the screen protector it interferes with the wide angle "group selfie" lens on the Pixel 3. Not much, but enough to be noticeable. The Best Buy installer had to remove it and put it back on 2 more times to make sure the wide angle lens was unobstructed. So it sits a little left of where it should (1/16" or so), but should provide the required protection. Hopefully Zagg will address this with a slight redesign.

I read the poor reviews about the Pixel 3 shield, but decided to try anyway since I have chosen Zagg protectors for all family devices for years. I had my shield installed by the geek squad and returned it in less than ten days with a windshield-type crack near the camera. It literally came off in sharp shards of glass. My camera was kept inside my purse in a sunglasses case, and is wearing a google phone case. There was no event that could have lead to this damage. Very disappointed!

This was one of the simplest screen protectors to install. It came with an application guide that ensured it hooked up just right. The cleaner and wipes were good and the lent sticker helped get the last bit. As far as feel, looks and use, I have no complaints. It seems like it could have been a little wider, but I think that could have caused issues with some aftermarket cases. It fits great with my Google case, and the one I got my wife works with her Spek case.

The application kit includes everything needed, although I can't speak to ease of installation as the BestBuy technician installed it for me. The screen protector doesn't effect the display quality or touchscreen responsiveness from what I can tell. My only issue with it is that it's almost too perfectly fitted to the screen's width, and the slightest offset can result in a very slim rainbow effect on one edge of the screen at certain angles.

New alignment guide makes for easy application. Anyone who's used a screen protector in the past and applied themselves will understand. This is the 5th zagg product I've had and the 4th to crack within 2 weeks of purchase. This is due to glass being week on the edge and keys or w/e else in pocket causing it to crack. Doesn't affect phone functionality and will wait until obscure vision or touch response problem to warranty exchange.

I bought two of these and they are very sensitive. I cracked one during the install process. The screen says that it is "pixel 3 friendly" and the verbiage scares me as if my eyes are going to burn off without the protection. At any rate, I have had these on my previous phones and will continue to use them as a safe guard for my screen. Once they crack, you have to get another but they are expensive in my opinion.

I paid to get this installed on my Google Pixel 3 and it did not fit all the way and created a bubble effect. You can look and see how much I paid and installed...Imagine how I could go find a "tempered" glass for $8.99, and it is much more durable now.....I won't be buying these at Best Buy. You guys need to look to make sure what you are getting fits the phones....
