It stayed on when I got wet but don’t know how it would be in the ocean and I probably won’t use it there. I was surprised how easy it was to install, and how clear it stays during workouts it doesn’t fog up and works like it isn’t even there for touchscreen. I think it was worth the premium price. Also, has a lifetime warranty if you register it. I got Best Buy brand bumper guard for the case. A Best Buy associate help me pick this and it was a kind he had. I think it was a good recommendation.

zagg screen proctor for Apple Watch
