Customers appreciate the protection offered by the InvisibleShield® GlassFusion+ screen protector for the Microsoft Surface Duo. However, many find the installation process challenging and the instructions unclear, leading to difficulties in application and resulting in bubbles or other issues. Some also express concerns about the overall quality and durability of the product, particularly its susceptibility to scratches and its less-than-ideal feel. The screen protector's material and adherence to the device's edges are also points of contention for some users.

Don't buy this junk!

If you can actually install this without a bubble or piece of dust under it then you're a God. The install process is such a joke and that alone should tell you Not to buy this product for $40, it's not worth it and the best part at least 75% if not more when you close your displays they don't turn off. So if you brave buying this Zagg piece of junk protector I hope your battery lasts all day because I've removed mine now after 3 days now because I can't sit with my charger plugged in all day because the phone didn't lock and turn off the displays.
Good luck, I hope you don't waste your money like me and probably so many others have.

Seems to be really good protection for duo. Just no one knows how to put it on. I will be going back to Best buy for the fourth time to have them hopefully complete this task.

Thes instructions aren't clear. The product is of very poor quality. Very difficult to install. I emailed zagg but they weren't helpful at all. They stated the instructions are clear, and they haven't had any issues with other buyers. I emailed them a link to Best Buy reviews, but they didn't respond.

Not Tempered Glass

I'm impressed by how incredibly thin these screen protectors are. I mean, it makes sense since the Surface Duo closes and can't be obscured by a thick tempered glass screen protector. However, do note that this screen is not your traditional tempered glass screen protector. It's smooth like tempered glass, but almost feels like those cheap flimsy plastic screen protectors of yesteryear. That being said, the lifetime warranty on these is impressive. Hopefully it's as good as it sounds!

I'll be honest, it took me a solid 45 minutes to apply all 4 sides. It's difficult, tedious and you have to be meticulous. But once all the air bubble are squashed, you're left with a truly magnificent screen protector. It's crystal clear and not a single detail is lost on the screen with it's application. I'm finally able to keep the screen parts of my Duo folded outward on my desk without having to worry about scratches.

Faulty design- but doable

I would give this low stars but it would blend in and no one would read it. The design of this is faulty, but it CAN work. When I bought this, best buy convinced me to add labor so they can put it on. I had read the reviews and preferred that. Came back and tech said he won't do these and gave me a refund. Did it myself. You have to skip the first step.
The intention is to have you clean your phone, lay the screen on it to place it correctly, pull the screen back up and then pull off a layer BETWEEN YOUR PHONE AND THE SCREEN to reveal the real protextive screen. That entire process opens you up to pulling in more dust, your fingers touching the screen etc. Which is why all these bad reviews are right. Skip that.
Clean your phone, keep it dust free (use the dust removal stickers included, they are great) peel off that bottom layer m, DO NOT PKACE IT ON THE PHONE and then CAREFULLY peel off the other bottom layer half way ( there's a seam). make sure your grip is strong because it's tighter. Don't bend it at any time. Then meticulously place it. This screen "stretches" and has give. It's more like a membrane, so if you place it correctly, without dust, the first time, you can absolutely get a perfect placement.
Be ready to take your time, be patient, be meticulous and take 10 - 15 min for each of the 4 screens. I got it on beautifully, but felt it necessary to share that I did NOT follow the TERRIBLE instructions provided with this product. Don't buy this, if you don't have the patience and steady hands, a good clean surface and good light. But if you are like me and spent tons on this phone and leaving it unprotected is not an option, it can be done.

Wrong item for us - BB could have helped!

Actually don't know. We don't have a Microsoft Surface Duo and the item was purchased by mistake. A Google search for an iPad Gen 6 screen protector brought this up and we didn't look closely enough when purchasing, beyond the price. This error would not have occurred if the employee(s) working the Saturday before would have been willing to take the time to assist us while in the store, rather than trying to tell us quickly what we should be looking for (his response was not correct) and pointing us to the area, rather than walking over and assisting. He seemed to be trying to quickly answer questions. It was getting closer to 9 PM, someone was starting to turn lights out, and on the way out of the store we saw this individual rushing out right at 9. So now, it will have cost us 3 trips to this store and not getting the correct item from BB. Thanks BB! (We did get the correct item from another, major online retailer for even less money!)

I did not like these screens at all. They are thin plastic for protecting against scratches, not to prevent cracks. They came with good enough instructions, but were still difficult to install.

The way these other reviewers talk, installing these protectors sounded absolutely impossible. That is definitely not the case. Follow the instructions. Take your time (took me about 25 minutes to do all 4 sides). Be meticulous with keeping everything clean. I mean the phone is 1600 bucks, its worth doing it right.
Now for all of my big talk, the last panel did get a spec under it and that did ruin the application (at least to my standards) but I wouldn't say it was definitely their fault. The spec was there before, or it wasn't, who will ever know. Going to call and ask for a replacement.
As for the quality, it is simply the best out there right now. Worth 40 bucks even if you use it for a few months until something like a tempered glass option comes out. It fits perfectly. I would say it took about 5% of clarity out of the displays when I compared one applied side to the other virgin side. So in other words it is only noticeable if one side has it and the other doesn't. Again, I would prefer glass but with the hinge and clearance issues that may never even be an option.
If you aren't patient then maybe pay them to do it but its not like it was rocket science here folks.

Maybe the best protection option for Surface Duo.

I like that this includes protectors for both inside screens as well as both the outside panels. 4 protectors in total are included. These are much thinner than other Zagg protectors I have used. I assume this is because the Surface still needs to be able to close flat. (Which it does).
Installation was easy after figuring out exactly what the instructions were. They are a little confusing so read them twice. I did not encounter any issues with air bubbles or dust. Make sure each screen surface is VERY CLEAN before applying the protector. Use the included sticker to remove any dust.
One gripe is the protectors attract a lot of fingerprints. Maybe because they are plastic and not glass. But this was expected and I would rather have fingerprints than permanent scratches.
Overall I am satisfied with the protector since there are very limited options for this phone. But they are very pricey and could be difficult to install. Might be worth paying for Best Buy's installation if worried about it.

Terrible. Insanely hard to install. would not recommend. Just get a skin for the DUO to protect the outside. Since the phone closes I didnt even install on the inside cause it was so hard just to do the outside.

I have installed screen protectors on 5 or 6 phones (multiple times) as well as my Surface Pro and two Surface Go computers and I have NEVER had a more complicated and difficult install as this. There are multiple "protective backing" layers on the "back side" of the screen protector that you have to remove AFTER you apply the screen protector to the phone. This not only allows for dust to get onto the phone during the application process but also finger prints onto the screen AND the adhesive side of the screen protector. The "protective backing" layers are numbered to help you follow the instructions but the printing is on "top" of the plastic "protective backing" layer and when you separated it from the screen protector itself (tabs "2" and "3") the ink flakes off of the tabs and gets onto the back of the screen protector adhesive. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! I installed the screen protector on "screen #2" first but when I installed the screen protector on "screen #1" I skipped applying the screen protector to the phone in "Step 3" and removed "Tab 2" (half of the "protective backing" layer) and applied the "Tab 3" side first to align the screen protector and then squeegeed "Tab 2" starting in the middle and working my way toward the edge. That seemed to work better for me. The other issue is that when you have two "protective backing" halfs, it leaves a "seam" in the adhesive that is visible. Not sure if that will go away in a day or two.

Read the other reviews ... $40 wasted ... literally threw it in the garbage. When you get to the part where you have to lift tabs 2 & 3, it just pulls the screen protector off the phone, lets lint get under, and is ruined. I followed the instructions slowly and carefully.

This is a negative star product.
This has to be the worst screen protector in the world.
I have applied at least 15 other screen protectors to other phones and this one is the worst.
There are so many layers that are impossible to remove as you try and apply this to your Duo.
After watching the video numerous times and trying for three evenings i gave up and brought it back for a refund.
