    Seemed good in theory

It sounded good on paper, military grade and all that but it seemed to want to grab the screen before I was ready to apply it and so that caused it to be misaligned and had to be repositioned. In short all of that caused massive bubbling and cloudiness that the package said would dissipate and didnt. So to me it was junk and had to be removed. Maybe someone else will have better luck. Just make sure you have it exact the first time because there's no going back. At least some other kinds you can get a second chance at alignment but this one seems to be a one shot deal. SUPER stuck to the screen to, The store worker had to forcefully PEEL it off. I thought sure she was going to break the tablet in half thats how stuck it was. I am not a screen protector attacher expert but this one came out horrible, see pic. This is a new tablet too. Looks like it went through heck and back but that was brand new with brand new protector.

This costs half the price of the Protection Plan

I don't like scratches on my screen and since I no longer want to get the protection plan on 7 inch Tablets, I definitely recommend getting something to protect it. This screen protector, the shield may, or may not slow the reponse of your finger (scrolling and tapping) on the Tablet, a little. It's probably just an issue, with the Tablet, instead. If scratches really bother you, you have the protection plan, and want the screen to be perfect, get the shield. Why use up your protection plan (or get one at all), when you could spend half the money and always be covered? This protects the what the protection plan mostly covers, anyway. Unless you're clumsy or just rough on your stuff, just get the shield. Trust me, I have a Tablet, that had the protection plan and got broken. Beware. The first time, that I installed the shield, I was not happy, with it. I did get something different than the spray, which was in the installation video. It was basically a "wet nap". It, or the lack of the spray caused little specs to get and stay under the shield and I thought there was something stuck on top. It was big (it was actually underneath) and I tried to scrape it off, with a knife, then dug into it, a little. I thought the shield had chemically bonded to my screen and the spec was stuck. I thought I was digging into my screen, which seemed to be softened. It was actually the shield, that I was scrapping. I didn't realize that it was already installed, because of the other stiff plastic that it comes stuck to, which looks like it. I was so mad that my screen was messed up, because the shield had done the opposite of what it wss supposed to do to my screen..., but it didn't. It didn't mess my screen up; it was already installed. And the knife, digging into the shield, didn't mess the it up; it seemed to self heal. If you buy it, either ask to open the package, or before installing it, register it and call customer service to tell them that you want the spray, that's in the installation video. After my installation went bad, I called and told them, that I wanted a new one and the spray. I wasn't even charged, for the spray, but wss told, if I wanted more, with the next replacement (if I ever need to get one which seems doubtful) that it would cost $2.50. I told them how it wasn't right to send me something different than what is advertised in the installation video and tell me it could cost if I want it, again, AND how there are places that will install the shield, for you, but charge and THEY are the ones who have the spray. You definitely need to get the spray, if you want the installation to go well. Spray alot, on the shield and screen. This will help push the bits of debris, out. It's kind of like mopping. Also, don't plan on using your device, for 24-48 hours, after the installation. I turned it over to help get any of the spray, out, or from soaking in to the edges of the face.

It's a great protector but a bear to install. I bought a Zagg phone screen protector and had Best Buy install it. I did this one myself and it is atrociously applied. Arggh. Pay them!

Really hard to put on and too expensive to mess up. Worth every penny to have geek squad put it on for you. Had to buy 2. First one was defective! Bubbles and discolored/ yellowed.

Endures a lot of punishment. Especially a lot of potentially bad scratches at the hands of 6 year olds. It holds up to its description of having military-grade resistance.

Worst Zagg product I have used

I have used Zagg products on iPhones, iPads, and a Samsung tablet with great success. The product for this little tablet is not up to par. It uses an adhesive that has to be spread on the screen. It is virtually impossible to work all of the bubbles out. I even tried a second screen protector, and, while it was better, it still has bubbles. I can’t recommend it.

Wasn't sure about spending this much on screen protector for my new tablet but glad I did. It's lightweight yet sturdy. Tablet screen had good touch response, however it's even better since adding this protector. Plus I now have peace of mind when tablet is dropped or screen bumped.

It would've been 5 stars because I do love this product but the installation is a pain. They've changed how they want you to install it, but you're better off looking for hack instructions online which are more efficient.

Made the purchase but the sales man was to busy to help and didn't tell me that I had to pay to have the screen put on. I was told that I wouldn't have any problems putting it on, not true. If you don't know what you are doing the screen will show bubbles. I had to take it back and ended up having to pay to have a new screen put on. If you don't try and put the screen on yourself then it is fine.

When I use this on my Samsung tab I made a big mistake. I had two big bubbles in the middle of the screen. It sticks so tight so removing those bubbles was not a possibility. It was in a very bad shape. I was very upset, thought I'm going to buy a new screen protector later. But by next day those bubbles shrinked to very small bubbles(compared to the first day) just like they say about those micro bubbles. But the bubbles I had were not micro. Right now I'm totally fine with my screen and I'm not going to change it for a long time. This product is amazing.

Still a little difficult to aply without air bubbles, but offers great protection for a kid's tablet! When watching the screen the air bubbles are invisible.

After first putting it on my tablet, I could see several bubbles and was not happy, but the next day they were gone except for one tiny spot. Good protection. Just be patient.

If the one shot one kill idea of this screen cover would have panned out we would have been fine. Unfortunately my eye and hands didn't get it quite right the 1st time round. When an attempt to reapply the cover was tried it stretched and bubbled leaving it not usable. Would definitely go with a glass screen cover in the future.

ALmost impossible to squeeze out the bubbles once they are formed. It looks rather ugly having to try to force them out. Bought the tablets for my mom and dad so I'll check this weekend to see if the bubbles finally disappeared. I was so close to ripping it off but it would not restick once applied.

I love the Zagg screen protection; however, for me, it is difficult to install without air bubbles. I usually ask someone in-store to install it for me and they can do a great job. I follow the directions to the letter and I still cannot remove the air bubbles satisfactorily.
